hi sry if this is obvious but what's a terf? it was mentioned in the omgcp women festival post (sry can't quite remember what it's called) and it seemed to be negative so i was wondering :-)

TERF stands for trans-exclusionary radical “feminist” (they often call themselves radfems) and it means someone who doesn’t believe trans women are women and that trans men are men. the logic behind it is ridiculous and gross and i want no part in it.

i’ve never seen any terf bullshit in the omgcp fandom but i figured it was best to specify that that kind of bigotry has no place in a festival about women, and in general. participants of the festival are welcome and even encouraged to talk about trans women if they want.
