I've read the shatter me series once and now i'm here to tell you my objections: 1. the books are focused mainly on the romance between Juliette and Warner and not the planet that is literally on its last leg. And the fact that they don't seem to care about much other than each other 2. Despite the fact that Juliette is portrayed as a hero who saved the planet, she really didn't do much. Without her, the rest of the team, Castle, Nouria, Samantha and the others most likely could have most saved the planet just as well but with better political awareness. 3. It bothers me a lot that Juliette wastes a month reading War and Peace and complains that she knows nothing about ruling a country. 4. Also it makes me laugh at how unrealistic the world is. It only took the Supreme Commanders seven years to abolish all cultures, religions and languages? Iraq has control over the whole of Asia? China, India and the other leading Middle Eastern countries just stepped down? 5. Also the characters aren't really that smart. Like yeah the characters have to be real but they still tried to shoot Anderson knowing that he could heal himself. They made this mistake more than once.
