Your intellect, talents, innate abilities and sensibilities. And I can’t help but think that this applies particularly to us as women. Not because the men do not have these things in them, but because some of us women tend to dumb and dull ourselves down and be subsumed in, and into our man. This is often driven by, one, some definition of the word ‘submission’ and two, the fact that we are taught to be a helpmate or help, meet for our man. We will ALL be held accountable for the things placed in us by God, that we did not bring to the table that could have enhanced and enriched both us and others in our sphere of influence, at work, at play, in all our other endeavours in life, and in our primary relationship, MARRIAGE, that is supposed to mirror the relationship between Christ and the church.
