Love how Thistle will knock something off the table with her tail and then whip around and stare at it like it's an alien. Baby girl do you not keep track of that fluffy thing that's attached to you
Thistle adores this $2.50 bird toy. It is her favorite. It is the one she brings us in her mouth when she wants to play, and she usually brings it to our bed so she can sleep near it at night. Earlier this year I bought New Bird so we have a backup if Bird gets fully shredded or whatever. New Bird doesn’t get played with much; along with many other toys, it normally sits in a little built-in bed area on the top of her cat tree.
She didn’t sleep with Bird yesterday. Instead, some time last night, she laid it out alongside the couch, then apparently made the decision to fetch New Bird from its storage place and set that one out too right next to its friend. :’)
Oh didn’t post I got home! I got home yesterday. Mom drove me. Nice to sleep in own bed. Not a lot of pain today except headache (???). So could take just ibuprofen not oxy. Walked around a little, dressed myself. Read some middle-grade books on Libby. Even YouTube or podcast too tiring from noise. Hope can watch TV with Robin later. Slept a lot. Visiting nurse came. Thistle lay on my feet while she checked the dressings. Things okay. Very little appetite. Can hear heartbeat strong in ears, weird, nurse said body just working hard. Very very tired.
Robin took such a cute photo! And I made and am now eating my own lunch!!! (Couscous, leftover roasted chickpeas, grilled chicken, baby spinach and kale, sauteed yellow pepper, green olives and a bit of their brine, salt/pepper/harissa)
A perfect catch on the timing of this one :P
Yesterday marked 14 years of taking testosterone!
