- an enjoyably shiny and colorful matte-metallic notebook I got today from the gift shop in which to write my list of uncensored personal wants—yes I am doing that! I have written 4 pages so far.
- views of the sky and my house and garden as seen from the perspective of a person lying in the driveway, which I did the other day (was blocked in by the parked car, so not in any danger!). The pavement was pleasantly warmed by the sun and also sometimes you’re in that stage of emotional crisis where you just need to lie face down on a hard surface for a while. For mysterious sensory regulation reasons maybe??? I genuinely can’t even explain the impulse. Anyway, I did lie there for quite a long time and listen to an audio short story and watch all the different kinds of bugs wandering by
- a selfie reflecting a quality I like in my appearance: when the light catches on my head and beard stubble, it has this look of copper to it. I had truly red hair as a child and my head and body hair are all still reddish-tinted now. That’s why I chose to wear warm-toned metals in my nose/ear piercings; I remembered it as a piece of aesthetic advice for “warm redheads” from my grandma’s Color Me Beautiful book
an impulse purchase I do not regret: these new dangly earrings of solid cast steel hands clasping heart-shaped red glass cabochons. Dangly earrings + shaved head is so hot imo, I don’t know what it is
I’m incapable of smiling in selfies. Also, question, how goth can one really be with a ginger beard
