Maybe it's human nature or maybe it's just me but I have a habit of wanting things that I can't have. i don't want easy. I don't want simple. I want complex and intricate. I want unique and different. I want a challenge. Maybe it's stupid and I probably shouldn't but I like to play with fire. No matter how many times I get burned, it's like a bug following the light, you just can't stop. And today, I saw someone I hadn't seen in a while. Someone who made me feel things that I hadn't felt in a while. Someone who helped me realize that I could feel again. I could feel butterflies, I could be anxious, I could look forward to the next time I'd see him again. He taught me how to begin again without doing much, honestly, he was just being himself. But I fell and I guess I fell hard. Because even while knowing he doesn't feel the same way, I can't stop myself from feeling what I do. And seeing him today, god, it brought it all back. And the timing? The day right after I meet someone, who again, shows me that I can feel again. I guess the first guy is the one that got away and the second guy, well, I don't know yet. But, it sucks (for a lack of a better word). Really, it genuinely sucks to have feelings for someone who will never be able to reciprocate them or chooses not to. It sucks falling for someone who will never fall for you. My friend says its his loss and yeah, I agree. But that doesn't mean it still doesn't suck or I don't feel the way I'm feeling now. It's frustrating because I should have more control, I shouldn't wear my heart on my sleeve but how do I control my feelings? How do I control my heart? Is it even something to control? Or something that we should even try to control? It sucks feeling this way. I truly does. It sucks and it just sucks. He's not even the "one that got away" because I never even had him in the first place. Why did I have to see him? Why do I have these feelings?

This sucks.
