Step aside Miss Buttercup, it’s time to wrap this season up! In the 2017-2018 season we seized the day, saw squirrels fly, prayed for pageant, hunted for treasure, learned that teamwork makes the dream work... and that’s just the shows I stage managed! Now let’s talk numbers, shall we? This season I ☑️ Wrote 3️⃣2️⃣1️⃣ reports (at an average of 4 pages per report, that’s 1,200+ pages) ☑️ Worked with 2️⃣2️⃣1️⃣ actors, students, technicians, designers, and other production team members (give or take a few repeats) ☑️ Called 1️⃣8️⃣7️⃣ performances ☑️ Ran 9️⃣5️⃣ rehearsals ☑️ Held show for technical difficulties (or brown outs) 3️⃣ times ☑️ Successfully evaded 1️⃣ case of hand, foot, and mouth I 💜 my job and I 💜 The REP. Thanks to everyone who made these beautiful productions possible — all 221 of you. Looking forward to what the next season holds! Special shoutout to my A++ ASM @takeitfromgrace and crewsies extraordinaire @victron24 and @bgroth27 for getting through every tech, hold, power outage, obsessed audience member, and contingency that this season sent our way. You’re the wind beneath my fancy wings. We did ittttt 🥂🥂🎉 And — as always — please feel free to contact stage management with any questions or concerns. 💖 #imastagemanagerwheee #thiswillhavebeenfun #momentsthatmatter #orlandorep #newsiesorlando #prayforpageant #saddadunderthestairs #bogus #rare #tya #theatreforyoungaudiences #orlandodoesntsuck (at Orlando Repertory Theatre)
