THMW (and life) Updates

Hey all! Thank you for your patience with THMW as I recover from that hell of a month. I’m still missing my emotional support pup like crazy and the world is still overwhelming, but we’re getting through.

I’m considering the possibility of posting the raw THMW chapters on AO3 and slowly substituting them out for actually good polished and edited versions later on. I know people have been waiting a long time to see what happens next and I’m so sorry for not staying on my usual schedule. The only downside is that the raw copies haven’t seen my edit, Lou’s edit, or Noel’s edit, so they’re pretty rough, very long, and have things that may not be canon to our current story (and conversely, may be missing things that are important!)

Part of my thoughts around posting the raw chapters all at once is that my GA job got an upgrade! Or, a sort of upgrade. My pay is still shit, but I’m co-instructing a class this semester about “the Other” throughout history (something that will feature prominently in my MA thesis!) I’m SUPER excited to be able to teach and lecture in addition to tutoring/grading/the boring grunt work. Unfortunately, it’s incredibly demanding of my time, hence the questions about posting fic.

TLDR; Let me know your thoughts re: THMW raw uploads. Yay, give them now despite their flaws? Or no way give it some editing?
