Ok because some jerk who thinks he's cool decided it was a wonderful idea to go and post the whole Infinity War plot on Reddit, it could be making it's way to Tumblr, Twitter, Instagram, etc. If you see anything online, try to report it or ask the person to delete it so no one else gets spoilers. So, in order to avoid spoilers for ourselves and our followers in case we accidentally like or reblog something, Danielle and I will be off Tumblr for two weeks, until May 10. We have our queue built up so y'all will get content, spoiler free.
Love all of you, and try not to burn the place down till we get back. ❤️
Hello everyone!!!! I just wanted to let you guys know that we see your requests and we haven't forgotten about them! Christina and I have just had a lot going on. I’ve been traveling a little and she’s taking summer courses and life has overall just been crazy (but that’s nothing new). We honestly have both had bad writers block and aren’t proud of what we have been writing lately. We want to make good content that we like and are happy with instead of just rushing to write something to get requests done. -Christina has officially decided to take a break from the blog for personal reasons.- But we do plan to work on requests again in the future! Thank you guys so so much for your patience!! We love you guys so much and are so so so grateful to all of you who send in requests and read our stuff!! If you ever have any feedback, our inbox is always open! We love you guys so much! Thank you! And sorry for this long sappy post! I hope you guys understand ☺️🙈😘❤️🕷❤️ -Danielle YOU GUYS ARE AMAZING
Request from Anonymous: Hi! Can I request a scenario where Peter and the reader are childhood friends and the friend walks in on Spider-Man and she starts freaking out that Peter's in trouble? And can Peter troll her into confessing how she truly feels for her childhood friend?? Sorry if that made like no sense.
A/N: After writing this I realized the anon could have been asking that the reader doesn't know Peter is Spider-Man but I had already read it as she has always known, so sorry if I misunderstood. I hope you still like this fic <3 I absolutely loved the childhood idea and hope I could do it some justice. I don’t know if he really trolled her lol because I couldn’t think of something clever, but I hope you still like their conversation in this. :) Loved your request! Thank you!! <3
“I see a dragon! What do you see (Y/N)?!” Your best friend Peter asks you excitedly as the two of you lay on the summer grass looking up at the big fluffy clouds.
“I see a unicorn. Right there!” You say as you point to the cloud next to Peter’s dragon. There is a slight breeze and it feels good with the hot summer sun beating down. Even with all the clouds, you can still feel the sun’s warmth on a beautifully perfect day like this. Nearby, you and your best friend’s favorite climbing tree stands tall, branches scraping the clouds. You'd probably attack it after looking up at the clouds for a few moments. At seven and eight years old, you and Peter spent your days running around in the field, climbing trees, staring at clouds, and looking for little critters in and out of the river. Every day was always full of adventure.
“Race you to grandmother Willow!” Peter yelled suddenly as he rushed up. You were right behind him as you two ran to the grand tree you loved so dear. Peter had named it grandmother Willow after the tree in one of your favorite movies, Pocahontas. Peter had beat you to the tree like he always had.
“One of these days I'm going to beat you, Parker!” You tell him while using his nickname trying to catch your breath.
“I'm a superhero, (Y/N)! And superheroes always got to come in first place so they can save people.” Peter exclaims as he pushes his glasses up.
“You'll always be my hero Peter.” Smiling to Peter, he gives you a smile back as the two of you start climbing the tree.
Although all of your days weren't spent living in the outdoors, Peter and you always managed to have fun.
Over the years, Peter and you have stuck through the thick and thin. You've always been there for each other and tell one another every secret. This was very important, now that you guys were in high school. You always overheard about other people's drama and we're grateful that you didn't have to worry about any of that. Other than the fact that your best friend, Peter Parker, was THE Spider-Man, your grades were the only thing you worried about. It was quite funny because spiders had always scared you growing up, and you made Peter always take care of it. You always wish he has just killed the little things, but he would always put them outside safely. He cared for everything like that and you appreciated it.
School came easy to you and Peter, and at the end of the day, you rather keep Peter’s big secret than deal with stupid silly drama. And thank goodness for puberty. You had both grown taller, Peter got contacts, and you were finally out of your braces. You felt comfortable in your skin and were happy to have Peter by your side through everything as you grew up together.
“Study sesh tonight, (Y/N)?” Peter asks you, snapping you out of your thoughts.
“Duh, Parker.” You smirk at him, playing off that he didn't startle you. Scaring each other was something the two of you always did to each other and you were both very competitive, never wanting the other to get a win. “My house at 6 like usual?”
“Sounds good. Gotta run a few errands for Aunt May and spend some time with her. I'll text you later!” Peter says as he walks down the hallway practically shouting at you.
“May the force be with you!” You shout at him as one of your nerdy inside jokes. Turning towards you, he raised one of his hands in the famous Spock gesture. You shake your head with a smile on your face. Saluting your nerdiness with more nerdiness, classic Peter Parker.
After dinner, you go up to your room and turn on your lamp. Peter had texted you during dinner that he was doing some Spider-Man thing. This always worried you and you tried your hardest not to think of the possible danger he might be in. It was 9:32 pm and you knew Peter probably got held up being Spider-Man. You didn't blame him, he had a big heart, and you knew how important it was him. He always did want to be a superhero. But that wouldn't stop you from over worrying about him whenever he was out risking himself in the city. To take your mind off of him, you decide to go get a glass of water and allow yourself to text him ten minutes at least. Closing your door, you head to the kitchen. Your bare feet touch the cool tile and it feels good. Realizing how warm you are, you grab a glass and fill it with water, which you chug in a few big gulps. You fill the glass again to take back to your room. Thinking of Peter (that didn't last long) you go to grab another glass for him. As you open the cupboard you stand on your tiptoes to reach for a glass when you hear a sound. Trying not to freak out, you leave the water and head for your room. Everyone in your family had already gone to sleep so your mind goes to the worse scenarios.
Once you reach your door your heart feels like it's going to beat out of your chest. You slowly turn your doorknob and gradually open your door. You feel a new fear as you see Peter in his Spider-Man suit on your floor.
“Peter!” You whisper-shout to Peter as you run to him, putting your hand on his shoulder you look to see if anything is wrong. His head is still slumped down so all you can see is his dirty brown hair which is laying more flat from having the mask on. Not wanting to overthink things you try to keep your tears at bay. When he doesn't speak up you worry, “Peter, are you okay?” You say as your bottom lip wants to tremble. He looks up at you and you gasp. He has a black eye and a cut on his lip.
“Oh, Peter...” you whisper as you stare at his hurt brown eyes. Pushing your tears away you rush to wet a towel with warm water and grab the glass of water you had poured. When you get back to your room Peter has managed to push him towards your bed so he's now leaning against the side of it.
“Drink this.” Handing him the glass you sit down next to him to care for his wounds. Raising the towel you gently press it to his eye and he winces.
“Sorry!” You pull the towel away quickly.
“No, no- it's okay..” he grunts as he shifts his body to face you better.
“Stay still!” You whisper to him sternly. Even though your door is shut you were afraid that your parents might hear. He stopped moving and allowed you to take care of him. As you try to clean his face a little you can feel his big brown eyes staring at you. This makes your stomach flutter and heart skip a beat, but you try to not let him notice. You glance at his eyes and notice his start to slump. Wanting to keep his mind off of the pain you try to think of something to distract him.
“So, did you decide to climb in my window like Peter Pan? You going to take me on an adventure to Neverland, Parker?” Joking about one of his favorite Disney movies manages to make him smile. And you're so happy to see him smile.
“I'd take you to Neverland any day..” he says with the softest voice. His intentions were probably for you not to hear his remark since his face was slumped down towards his body, but you definitely did and your heart could attest for that. His eyes had been closed and he opens them again trying to straighten himself up a little more.
“Am-am I still, um, am I still your hero?” His voice breaks which almost manages to shatter your heart. You put your free hand on Peter’s and he slowly looks back up to you.
“Are you kidding Peter Parker?! I honestly could care less that you’re Spider-Man. You've always been my hero Peter Parker and you always will be.” His brown eyes turn glossy and your body takes over whatever your brain is thinking. When you finish you try to regain your breath back; you hadn't realized you were practically breathless. You slowly lean towards Peter and press your forehead to his as gently as you possibly can, afraid you might hurt him. He puts his free hand on your arm as the other fully interlaces your hands together. Working the hand up your arm to your face he caresses it gently. As your heart beats faster you loved the newly gained warmth on your cheek as he slowly moves his thumb back and forth. You always felt comfortable with Peter, but never like this. Your eyes are closed as you try to slow your breaths back to normal. You feel Peter's breath mix with yours has he leans in, closing the little space between the two of you. His lips are so soft and have a taste you never knew you needed. Despite him being in the cold, his lips were warm on yours. Dropping the damp towel you more that hand to the nape of his neck, interlacing your fingers in his brown waves. Even though it's a total mess, his hair still felt soft. Afraid of hurting him you move back from him a little.
“I'm sorry, (Y/N).”
“It's okay Peter.” You don’t want him to think you didn’t want to kiss him, you just can’t believe it’s happening. You try to reassure him as you rest both of your hands in your lap.
Worried you ruined everything, Peter grabs one of your hands again forcing you to put your attention on him again.
“Do you remember that unicorn cloud you saw when we were kids?” You nod and he continues.
“I never wanted to admit it, but that was the sickest cloud I'd ever seen. It was even better than my dragon cloud, cause, unlike the dragon, it actually looked like a unicorn.”
You laugh from the great childhood memories.
“And I never let you beat me to grandmother Willow because I wanted to make sure I would be able to get to you faster if I ever needed to…”
Peter glances away and becomes really quiet.
“Your dragon cloud was pretty cool…” Peter’s head snaps back up to look at you with a new hope in his eyes. With a new shyness you're tempted to look away, but don't allow yourself.
“And I totally let you beat me to grandmother Willow.” You smirk at him and laugh at the shocked look on his face.
“No, you did not!” He says a little loud.
“Shhh, my parents are asleep.” You go back to a whisper.
“No, you did not,” Peter says again this time in a whisper and you giggle.
He wraps his arms around you and threatens you to tell the truth.
“Okay okay!” You say in between a laughing fit. He releases you moving his hands to your shoulders, locking your eyes on each other.
“You got me.” You tell him with your hands up.
“I knew I was right.” He whispers as you both smile. “There's a lot of things I'm right about.” He says even more quietly.
“Like what?”
“Well, the unicorn cloud for one, our races, Star Wars is better than Star Trek, and that I've always had feelings for you.”
“Star Trek is bet- wait what you'd say, Parker?”
“You've always had feelings for me.”
“You didn't say that!”
“Yes, I did.”
“No!-”
“Well, it's true.” This boy has managed to leave you speechless yet again.
“I've always liked you Peter…” you say so quietly it sounds like it's meant for yourself, but you know he still heard it.
“I knew it.” He says with a smirk.
“Oh shut up spider boy!”
“Wh-what?! Spider-boy?!” His remark makes you laugh. You knew you'd get a reaction from him after this. He leans in and kisses you again and swallows your laughter, winning this round.
Prompt #42 “Sometimes, You Fall for Someone You Didn’t Expect but that Doesn’t Make it Wrong” PART 2
Written by Danielle
Word Count: 1504
A/N: Our most liked fic EVER is a lovely one Christina did a little bit ago and a lot of people really wanted a part two so... here it is!!! Although Christina wrote the first part, I really tried to capture the characters and keep cute moments from her writing to really tie this part two in with the first one. I am really nervous, but I hope you guys still like it! Christina and I both agreed that we’re not as good with coming up with more parts to a fic, but this one was highly requested. We would love to know what you think and requests are still open :) Love you guys!
Originally loosely based off of prompt #42 from this list
There he was. You couldn't help but smile as you entered the library and spotted Peter in his blissful state while studying. He was the only one you ever saw do so. He had a massive textbook out with papers sprawled like always. As he’s writing you walk towards him making sure he doesn’t see you (which isn’t too difficult since he tends to get really focused in his work). You stand behind him with your test paper in hand. You had gotten a B+ and couldn’t wait to show Peter your improvement. You wrap your arms around Peter, putting your paper in front of his face which confuses him for a moment. He smiles when he realizes it’s you and you both look at each other.
“I actually did it..” you whisper in Peter’s ear, still in awe of how well you did. You couldn’t be happier.
“I knew you could do it (Y/N),” Peter says putting his hand on your arm with an even bigger smile.
“And I knew that you could finally be startled by me without flinging your papers everywhere.” You tell Peter with a smirk as you sit down next to him and it makes him blush which always leads to you giggling. How you loved making him blush.
For the past few weeks, you and Peter had gotten into a studying routine and you actually looked forward to your study sessions. (You never thought that could happen.) You found out that Peter was a really cool guy besides being a nerd. You were a nerd too, but unlike Peter’s passion for math and science, you were into books. Peter still enjoyed books too and you loved discussing with him.
Still sitting next to Peter, with your backpack on because you had something else in mind you manage to have the courage to ask him something.
“Hey, Pete..?
“Hmm?” He says looking up at his work looking completely content.
“How about we go do something? Take a break? We always study- how about we do something fun?”
“Hey, studying is fun!” Peter half jokes and you both laugh.
“Come on I want to show you something!”
“The pancakes here are amazing!” you tell Peter as the two of you sit across each other in a booth. You brought Peter to your favorite diner and were actually surprised you hadn’t brought him here before.
“What if I don’t like pancakes?” He says teasing you which makes you giggle and then you do a fake gasp.
“Only monsters don’t like pancakes!” you respond jokingly.
“Well, maybe I am a monster.” Peter’s tone becomes slightly serious and you wonder what’s going through his mind.
A waiter ends up taking your order, you got the pancakes and Peter ordered waffles just to bother you.The rest of your meal goes great. The two of you talk about everything from your families to books, and even totally random things like the false knowledge of a spider being an insect and a tomato being a vegetable. You and Peter could talk about literally anything and you always make each other laugh.
When you two are finished with your food Peter asks if he could now show you something.
“Wait really?” You couldn’t tell if Peter was serious; he had actually shocked you a little. This boy always had something new that surprised you and you honestly loved that. He was an endless mystery that you never wanted to stop solving.
“Y-yeah. You showed me something special to you, and now I want to show you something special to me…” Peter is looking down at his hands while he talks. He seems nervous but you have no idea why. Seeing a hint of pink on his cheeks you giggle.
“I’d love to,” you say not taking your eyes away from him. His head snaps up to look at you and he smiles as soon as you guys lock eyes.
“Peter I’ve seen this bridge a million times!” When you left the diner, Peter had grabbed a taxi for the both of you and you were on one of the many streets/bridges with a view of the famous Manhattan bridge. Peter tears his gaze away from the bridge to look at you. You try to not look at him, but you can feel his eyes on your face and you give in. When you look at him you see a smirk growing on his face.
“Want to get a closer look?”
“Wha-” before you can answer he interrupts you.
“Close your eyes.” you hesitate because you’ve never seen Peter like this before. You do as you're told and before you can think of anything else you feel a huge rush. Your hair flies everywhere and your skin gets goosebumps from what feels like wind, except it’s way faster than any wind you’ve ever felt. Simultaneously, your stomach gets that feeling when you go up and down in an elevator, only it’s magnified. All of the sensations go by so quickly, and before you know it, you’re still again. Scared to open your eyes, Peter speaks before you do so.
You open your eyes looking up to see Peter. You hadn’t realized how tight you were holding on to Peter so you loosen your grip, which only worries Peter and he grabs a hold of you again.
“Careful-” He says to you, but you don’t understand why as your mind is racing a million miles a minute. You’re speechless.
“I hope you’re not afraid of heights..” Peter says smiling as he notices you’re okay. This only confuses you more though and you look down to try and figure out what he means. As soon as you look, a scream escapes your throat and you grab onto Peter with an even stronger grasp than earlier.
“What the…” is all you manage to gasp out and this time Peter giggles at you.
“Peter Parker you literally took my breath away!” and this causes Peter to throw his head back and break out into a loud laughter. While looking up at him you can’t help but smile, you were the one that brought that smile and laugh to Peter’s face and you loved it. When Peter stops laughing he looks down to you and his eyes light up as his face seems to get more serious.
“(Y/N), do you remember what book you had when you scared me on our first study date?”
You try to ignore the fact that Peter used the word date, but your heart races a million miles a minute.
“Y-yeah..” you whisper to him.
“W-well… the lightning inside of you kinda...um- you, uh you brought me to life (Y/N)”. A tear leaves your eye, falling down your cheek and Peter wipes it away with his thumb. Staring at his rich brown eyes, he leans towards you with his hands on your cheeks. You close your eyes as Peter puts a soft kiss on your lips.
After a blissful moment, you pull away from Peter still hazy, but with a dying question.
“Peter, how did we get up here?” Peter’s eyes widened as he looks away from you, blowing a breath through his lips, his cheeks gain that rosy red you love. You giggle as he figures out what to say.
“W-well, I uh, well, um uh…” Peter stutters, being adorable as always. You felt a large smile pull at your lips and you couldn’t help but kiss him again. You feel him smile as you kiss, right before he breaks the kiss with his voice.
“Spider-Man.” You furrow your brow as you can’t actually believe what Peter just said.
“Peter what does Spider-Man have to do with this?”
“I uh, w-w-well I’m um. I’m sorta...” Peter stammers again, this time burying a hand in his thick brown locks.
“Spit it out, Pete.”
“I’m Spider-Man,” he says almost too quickly. Your mind floods with all of your memories of Spider-Man. Connecting your memories to Peter, you can’t believe he is the Spider-Man.
“No way…” you say almost too quietly for anyone to hear. Peter heard you of course and you see a great look of sadness flood through his face. He looks down, fearful of what you might think of him. Looking at his face, you notice scars you never had a second thought of, and as his hair falls down over his face you can’t help but think of how big this boy's heart is. Your heart is so happy that Peter feels comfortable enough to share such a big part of him with you. You would do anything to help this boy; to make him happy.
“Can I get your autograph?” You ask him with a sly grin and Peter’s head snaps up. A smile appears on his face when he realizes you're okay enough to joke with him like everything is still normal. Even though he is the great Spider-Man you can still joke with him like he is just your Peter Parker.
Warnings: None! I also believe this is gender neutral! But let me know if I am wrong.
Request by an anon: hey!! could you please write an angsty one where the reader has a crush on peter and walks in on him kissing someone else? thank you :) x
AN: Hey guys! So angst is not really my strong suit, but I need to catch up to Christina cuz she has written a few fics more than me so here is my attempt at an angsty request! I really hope you guys enjoy!! Christina and I realized that I am the fluffy girl and she is the angsty girl and this is why we are such a great team! ;) It’s fun to challenge yourself sometimes though! I would love your feedback! And I hope you guys have an amazing day/night!! :) xoxo -Danielle
You froze. Your hand was still holding up the door like someone super glued it there leaving you stuck there unable to pull it off. Your jaw dropped at the sight of Peter Parker kissing someone else. Someone that wasn’t you. Your eyes were frozen in place, unable to blink, you felt them start to water. Tears were rushing to the surface but your feet felt like they were heavy weights that were cemented to the floor. Your world flashed before your eyes and moved in slow motion all at once. In the next moment you turned around to get out of there as fast as you could. But Peter had heard you as soon as you walked through the door. He saw you just as you had slipped out of the door. Running down the hall you wipe your tears on your sleeve and don’t look back. “(Y/N)!” Peter cries at the end of the hall but you try to ignore him.
“Wait (Y/N)! Wait!” There no way you can face Peter so you continue to run around the corner and hide behind the end of the lockers. Peter’s steps get louder and louder as he gets closer to you. He still continues to call your name as you slump down against the wall. Wrapping your arms around your knees you hide your face in your arms and let the tears fall.
Peter and you had become really close over the past year. It all started when he asked you for help in English. The two of you started to meet to tutor each other, then they became more frequent study dates which all led to the two of you becoming close friends and hanging out for fun rather than for school. You admired Peter and not only loved how smart he was, but how overly sweet and dorky he was. You were able to be your complete true self around Peter and he was the only one who made you feel comfortable to do so. Over the past few months you had started to develop feelings for Peter. He ditched his glasses a couple of weeks ago which made you sad. You noticed that it made you sad. Without the glasses, you were able to see Peter’s sincere brown eyes more clearly. His eyes told you all of his emotions and you wanted to stare at them all the time so you could know what he was feeling at every moment. You wanted to get lost in his eyes, to get lost in him.
But none of that mattered because there was someone else.
That person would get to hold his hand, they would be the one to laugh with him, to talk with him, to hold him. He wouldn’t need you anymore now that there was someone else. “(Y/N)..?” His soft voice breaks your thoughts. You’re frozen solid, unable to move because you don’t want him to see you like this.
“(Y/N) please look at me.” With his voice practically begging, you bury yourself deeper into your arms being stubborn as usual. A shock pulses throughout your body as Peter places one of his gentle hands softly on your arm. Your head shoots up as you gasp, your wet swollen eyes meeting Peter’s precious brown ones. They literally took your breath away.
In that moment you could see that Peter was upset and maybe even a little afraid. His eyes never lied to you, but what did you know, you did think you and Peter were having feelings for each other but it turned out you were wrong about that. You didn’t know if anything was real anymore.
“I never wanted to hurt you.” Those words break your heart even further and snap your gaze away from Peter. Looking down at your feet, you no longer no what to say, you don’t know what to feel, you are just numb. “(Y/N) please look at me.” Peter’s words are broken and crack with pain, but you can’t bear to look into his eyes again. Ignoring his words, he puts his hand under your chin to gain control of your gaze. He lifts your eyes back to his and you are caught under his spell again.
“Tell me why you are hurt.” he lowers his voice to a soft whisper. Even though you are the only two people in the whole hallway, he speaks loud enough that only you can hear. “Please. Talk to me.” his words sound like a prayer. You open your mouth but nothing comes out. You want to tell him everything, you want to tell him how you feel. You want to tell him that you like them.
I like you! I like you Peter Parker! I like you and I never want to stop being with you! Your mind is screaming the words, but they get caught in your throat. Closing your lips together you try to tell Peter everything you are feeling with your eyes. Please Peter. Please…
A moment hasn’t even passed and you watch Peter’s eyes grow frantic. He searches you face, looking at your eyes, down to your lips, and back up to your eyes. This is the first time you can’t read his eyes, but you know they are telling you everything and nothing at the same time. You blink causing a tear to fall down your cheek and Peter wipes it away slowly with his thumb. He looks down at the tear and then back up to lock his eyes with yours again. Then his lips are on yours and he’s kissing you.
Everything else fades away and all you can think about is this moment with Peter. Nothing else matters. At first the kiss is soft, but it quickly grows with passion lighting you up from head to toe. The kiss is saying everything the two of you weren’t able to put into words. Peter’s other hand comes up to meet with the one on your face as you wrap your arms around his neck to bring him as close to you as possible. He moves his hands to your back in order to do the same.
You taste the saltiness from your tears and the two of you grow hungry for each other. Moving one of your hands up, you run your fingers through his soft waves and hold on tight to his beautiful locks. In that moment you can feel everything Peter is feeling, because it is exactly what you are feeling yourself. Peter slowly breaks the kiss leaving you stunned. Feeling his chest rise quickly from his heavy breaths, you take a moment to catch your breath before you open your eyes. Once you do you are met with his again, and this time you see something new.
“What you saw (Y/N) meant absolutely nothing. I want you to hear me out before anything else happens.” Peter sits the rest of the way down so you can see his face better. “I never wanted that to happen, let alone for you to see that because I don’t care for them the way I care about you. That kiss you saw meant nothing to me and I stopped it as soon as it started because I only have feelings for you (Y/N). It’s been killing me on the inside because I didn’t want to ruin what we had or worse, drive you away. I care about you more than anything. It’s always been you (Y/N). It’s always been you.” With his last words another tear falls down your cheek, but this time it’s from overwhelming happiness instead of hurtful thoughts.
In Peter’s eyes you now see all the hope he has for the two of you and it causes you to smile. In one fast motion you wrap your arms back around Peter’s neck almost tackling him to the ground but he holds you up with his great strength. Returning the hug, he slides his arms around your back enveloping you as you tuck your head into his neck and take him in. He smells like a mixture of his cologne and coffee; he smells like Peter. Lifting your lips to whisper in his ear, “I like you too Peter. Like crazy”. He squeezes you in return which only makes your smile bigger. You don’t want to leave his embrace now that you have it, but you move slightly so you can kiss him playfully. The two of you smile as you kiss knowing you now have each other.
