Oh? I did speculate in the Nyan Nyan Tricks Puck side story that Reid, Flugel & Volcanica (the three Heroes) were wildly different compared to the stories given how Herosim is condemned in this narrative as a bad thing then this pops up about Reid?
Seems to me Reid was a womanizer who very likely was a genuinely bad person despite what history highlights him for.

I do like to see how Carol despite even not knowing Grimm at this time is extending her sympathies & isn’t pushing him to set aside his feelings. Even going as far as to hold his hand.
I’m getting Grimm POV of the shenanigans with Tholter? That’s neat, didn’t expect to see that.
Grimm’s internal thoughts here is a great way to further condemn the ideal of Heroism by Tappei. Not enough pieces of media tackle the bad sides of wishing to become a Hero.
Beyond that though, the utilization of considering the battlefield “hell” caught my interest due to how that’s the counterpart of Heaven which has significant emphasis in this story.
Wilhelm stills views Grimm as a coward & useless then? Welp. Atleast Wilhelm recognized Grimm for the fact the guy was able to cut down Tholter.
Yeeeeees Wilhelm! Knock sense into Grimm’s reluctance to kill Tholter. I love this scene so much. Wilhelm ripping apart Grimm’s weakness in his personality is great.

Sphinx’s remark is interesting here to me. Sphinx admits she was observing them for quite awhile to deduce Tholter would be hard for them to kill due to emotional ties. The way Sphinx phrases this is very similar to how Echidna herself has trouble deciphering human emotions at times with how analytical & cold Sphinx is about the deduction she made here.
So they work off cores then? Interesting. Assuming Tholter is the core zombie in this scenario.
