PLANNING FOR BURIAL
album redesign i did for school, because i love this album dearly
Being an one-man band does come with a lot of responsibilities and the whole thing can actually cause you to become madder than usual. Planning For Burial has that sort of a feel. The entire thing does sound like Jandek, had someone tell him he did not have to be so atonal to achieve his scariness. Yes, Planning For Burial reminds me of that musician at times, since Thom Wasluck, the person behind the name, does like to creep us out. You have this strange image in your head during the listening of his music, i.e. you observe an obsessive going through his wall of connections, making you feel you shouldn't have been there in the first place. However, he does notice you and continues with his 'job' despite you gazing at him.
On this day, 3 years ago, my absolute favorite album was released.
