look at my family!!!! 🥺🥺🥺
The birth of baby Will made everyone on the farm happier, even old Grandma Eliza, who couldn’t stop taking her grandson with her everywhere she went. Thomas would take advantage of every spare moment to spend time with William and show him around Evergreen Acres.
Later in the day, long after the sun had set, Thomas was finally allowed to join Maggie back in their room and meet their firstborn— a precious little baby boy. They named him Thomas William Bailey Jr, Will for short, after his father.
These two lovebugs will always find time cuddle up by the fireplace <3
One sunny afternoon, Thomas surprised Maggie with a picnic. They took Daisy and headed for the seaside, settling on the beach where they could enjoy the cloudless sky, the sound of waves, and a perfect view of the lighthouse. It wasn’t long before they began to discuss the baby, their favourite topic as of late.
After Thomas had finished his work on the farm, he and Maggie decided to make the most of what little sunlight the day had to offer. Maggie took the opportunity to share the news of her pregnancy, having impatiently waited all day for a moment alone with her husband.
Maggie had been feeling unwell. Each morning brought a fresh wave of sickness, leaving her pale and tired before the break of dawn. Thomas couldn’t help but worry, insisting on doing everything he could to help.
Later that day, alone by the mirror, her gaze fell to her stomach. Maggie knew the signs; she remembered her mother going through the same struggles years ago. But could it be? She could feel her heart beat just a little bit faster as her fingers traced the faintest curve of her growing bump.
Though the heart be weary
Sad the day and long
Still to us at twilight
Comes love's old song
