I was waiting for someone to ask this! It's because in the early stages of the event there was a lot of discussion and theories about humans potentially being the reveal for the dustcarve dig! Enough people were worried that aequorin had to confirm that wasn't gonna be the case. Autopilot made a joke post about humans being revealed and Skraldrog made a history changing edit of a stock photo man in the place of a dragon. It has since spiralled into a whole meme, and personally I think its hilarious.
