hellooooooooo, it’s mod remi coming at you with your weekly famder news update for this monday and i think i’ve got like seven different things to talk about today? so buckle up

1. thomas’s twitter updates
since i’m not trying to take @tstwitterupdates ‘s job, we’ll keep it brief. thomas has been blessing us with some pictures of the sides carrying pride flags as well as some awesome little short videos, and of course, being sweet as ever in taking his time to reply to fans. he released the high-quality version of deceit’s logo, which was revealed recently, and put up this video, the compilation of the most recent (sorta) short videos.
2. general thomas updates
he hit 3 million instagram followers! you go, thomas.
3. fandom updates
the biggest trend this week has been pride! i’m so down, by the way. a lot of people have been posting amazing fics and art of the sides as various different sexualities, romantic orientations, and gender identities. i most recently posted a fic starring nonbinary patton!
of course, you should totally keep writing, drawing, editing, etc, of pride month! sides. it’s an awesome way to show our pride of who we are, and i think that this is a worthy trend.
also, it’s been a topic that i’ve seen addressed, but you shouldn’t feel bad about giving the sides labels that people may not have thought of for them. just ‘cause it’s obscure doesn’t mean it’s not valid, and expressing your feelings through the sides is awesome, honestly.
4. theory discussion
um, today’s theory is the broken crayon theory! the theory hinges on patton’s most recent poster and the fact that the blue crayon is broken, which some famders thought might symbolizes more angst in patton’s future, the poor baby.
more facts:
thomas made fun of this in a video where roman is drawing in crayon and accidentally breaks the blue crayon.
my opinion:
okay, i personally think that it may be a bit of a reach. don’t hate me, but i don’t think that it necessarily symbolizes more angst, because the kiddo has already had to deal with so much, like, jesus. but i may be wrong!

5. other things that happened this week
honestly i can’t think of anything else. um, the good omens fandom exploded, that was fun. not sanders sides related, but it happened.
