Shard 42: ResuZine of Thomas Vose
Our friend and writer of #Shard, #ThomasVose used Shard 42 as a resume/zine. Hence the ResuZine! If you look through it, you will find out a load of info and perhaps might want to hire him. I am unaware of his current employment status. It could be that this was just a cry for help in a desperate situation and now he has it all together. Looking at his ResuZine, it looks like he's had it all together for quite some time! He's got degrees, fellowships, affiliations, etc. He was a librarian in Paris... oops... *cleans glasses* that is Perris, CA. That is quite different. I apologize. Ooh PLUS it has his career highlights! As someone who has worked at the library for 38 years, I just totally nerded out over his resuZine. I hope you find your way to it and also nerd out in your own way.

Hey it's Shard XLI! That's roman numerals for 41! Lots of your regular tidbits of information from #ThomasVose including an excellent description and drawing of The Umi bōzu (海坊主, "sea monk") of Japanese folklore. It is at both times spooky and adorable. Okay - I know I can't post this without posting that picture - so check it out and feel free to tell me how adorable you think it is (and maybe we should look no further for other artistic depictions of Umi.)
