And it was because of that she had been avoiding many of her close friends, including one certain Thomas Avery. Yet when she saw him approaching her, and realising there was no exit, she began to move briskly forward, not intending to speak to him. Yet as he blocked her strategy, her fingers began to lightly grab the front of his shirt, pushing him back as she snapped, “Let me past!”
