PLZ READ: i don’t get why so many people hate on William and compare him to Alex in a negative way- William’s character is not perfect. as much as we want perfect people and perfection in ourselves, we mess up and we disappoint people but all we can do is get better and learn from those mistakes. each one of us has done things we are ashamed of and that’s what william represents in some ways- the parts about ourselves we don’t like, b u t william also tries to get better and to apologize and learn from what he is doing wrong because he wants to get better. so many people act like they have it all together but william never pretends to, he knows that he needs to work on himself and isn’t afraid to admit that. Yes, outwardly Alex was more vulnerable but not all of us can show that emotion so quickly and William represents that. he is still a vulnerable example of a man and someone to look up to. we are all making mistakes and the only thing we can do is learn from them and not focus on the past, focus on who we want to be and what we want to represent in the future.
also- this isn’t supposed to be hate on people that posted about this but it is my opinion on the situation
