technically it is. it’s just a one-word spelling of all right, and is still considered grammatically correct.
sorry i didn't respond to this earlier but, while a lot of people today use it as a variation, it is not yet generally accepted in the English language to use "alright" instead of "all right". An example of a word like this that IS acceptable would be "altogether". Students are still taught that "alright" is incorrect. I definitely think that we will eventually get to the point where "alright" becomes the standard, or at least generally accepted, but "all right" is still considered the right way to spell it.(x) (x) (x)
