@thomas-palmers “Ol’ Stuart likes to be a little rascal, huh?” Thomas walked over to the ornate and very ancient looking grandfather clock. It was very beautiful but perhaps a little too bulky. “If I had to pick an item to be tethered to in the afterlife, this wouldn’t be such a bad thing, right? Better than an iphone or something..Would you happen to have a mantle clock? I feel like we’re on the right track but maybe something a little more compact?”
“Oh definitely a rascal,” she said as she smiled at the clock. “But he’s fun,” she said as she looked back at her first customer. “I personally would chose like a cool taxidermy piece to be tethered to,” she grinned with a shrug. “Something cool like a cougar or a bob cat,” she said before she gestured him over to a bookshelf full of clocks. “I think you may like this one,” she said as she gestured to a mantle clock. “It’s from the 1920′s the face is laid with a thin sheet of marble and the details are bronze,” she explained as she touched the clock. “Or if you like the more classic look,” she pointed to the one above it. “This one is a little bigger, but it’s made of redwood from the California Redwoods, before it was illegal to cut them down,” she turned and looked back at him and offered a slight smile. “Any of these catching your eye?”
