A dash camera from another patrol car captured Officer #ThomasWebster approaching #LatifDickerson following a fight back in August of 2013. After ordering Dickerson to the ground, Webster is seen kicking him once in the head, knocking him out and breaking his jaw. Webster was originally put on leave pending an investigation. A grand jury convened in 2014. It did not indict him. But the Delaware #AttorneyGeneral's office took the case before a second grand jury. That jury indicted Webster on Monday on assault charges. Delaware #NAACP leaders are criticizing the police department's decision to release the video, saying they wanted time to redirect any tension that would stem from the footage being made public.
