I don’t hate ThomasxRosie at all, I ship it! However, it really pains me when people depict Rosie as a clingy stalker/yandere- that trope ain’t funny and it never will be funny or amusing to me. I see how her childish “copying crush’s behaviors” may be extremely annoying to Thomas, and I empathize w/him on that, but their dynamic later on develops into a normal, fun friendship; so I don’t have as much qualms w/that aspect of them if ppl interpret it as character development (and certainly not making Rosie into a monster).

Who would you ship Rosie with

hmmmmm had to think about this question for a while (multishipper moment) 😳

Thomas- (only if it’s much, MUCH later after the events of Rosie Is Red- I can see them as the really slow burn/friends to lovers type)

James- (jokingly, more of a “what if James had a thing for reds, bc get it- he likes red?”; applies to other red engines as well)

Percy- (potentially cute??? I wish they interacted, maybe they can bring each other’s more sensible sides out)

Emily- (at the end of Rosie’s Funfair Special, you could interpret it as Rosie wanting to be closer to Emily.. maybe like a “growing a crush on your slightly older co-worker” kinda thing)

Mavis- (hypothetical; idk why but they seem like they’d get along really well together!- plus, I’ve got a few peeps that ship them)

Stanley- (just background characters vibing in the background, who knows what they’re doin? I’ve only seen them in like cameos and fanfics, so this one’s also potential) 😗✌️

...and I’m sure I’m forgetting some other good ones, but these ones came to my mind first.
