Paraphrasing a post I saw on Bluesky, but it's kinda crazy that the Anglican Communion just had a massive schism - the new Archbishop of Canterbury being a woman was apparently the last straw for a bunch of Anglican churches, representing about 50 million people, who had been dissatisfied for a while with the more liberal direction the Church of England has been taking - and it barely made the news. I checked the websites of BBC News, the Guardian, and the Telegraph, and it's not on the front page of any of those three. We still have an established state religion but it's so irrelevant that nobody gives a shit that half its global adherents just up and left. Very British tbh

kind of intrigued by the idea of writing a fic that’s a young carol having a series of uncomfortable and unsatisfying hookups before meeting helen. and then with helen she’s like actually i want to wait a minute before we have sex and then it’s them failing to do that. but lowkey the focus would be on having bad sex as a butch lesbian 🙇 would anyone hate that
I swear, this has happened too often where I think of an idea for a Waterboy scene and I go, "wait a minute, this is just that episode with Fluttershy" 💀 Brain is unconsciously just putting my interests in a blender Context: I was thinking of model Waterboy and it made me realize it's basically just the episode "Green Isn't Your Color" 😭
Shadowgrapher musings
I'm still on the fence on whether or not Follie is the voice over the speakers. I feel more like this voice plays into Follie's partial theme of fear, the person in question is very harsh in how she talks to the children. She does say at points "I don't know how I'm expected to deal with all of you at once.", which to me may imply this was a past attempt at therapy with the Zariman children, before or contemporary with Margulis's work, timelines are always shaky.
I don't think that Nitokh holds any significance to what's going on here. While it's been pointed out that she's painted on the walls, true, there are also images of Grendel, Mesa, Dax soldiers and other figures. This could be just foreshadowing later quests considering this node can be accessed after Chains of Harrow. I could be wrong, but there's little to no evidence that she's involved.
Any story that can be gleaned from this is a little vague, and still feels like Hexis still hasn't gotten the same level of story the rest of the syndicates have. It does open the door to looking into past experiments with the Zariman children before Warframes, which is interesting untouched ground. I'm interested to see if they touch this subject again.
