Endgame: Thor 1
What’s this ? Fic? a pile of headcanons? Dunno?
I stopped writing fics like 10 years ago, so there. I am just trying to make sense of the Thor clusterfuck.
Contain spoilers, so procceed with caution :)
Hey, I'm looking for an old-ish Thor fanfic and I swore it was one of yours. The plot is basically reader as a seemingly unrequited betrothed to Thor leading up to Thor confessing (something about not being in love with Jane) and loud lemony goodness in the avengers tower. Also, I vaguely remember stark and Rogers talking about how Thor and reader aren't affection and how it might be 'different' on asgard. Pls help
No, that’s not me. Sounds interesting though! Maybe one of my followers know about this fic?
Error and Trial
I had this short snippet on my laptop for some time, but I wanted to finish it and share. Just a cutesy (and depending who you ask a bit sad) story of Loki and his daughter.
Word Count: 1k+
Rating: General Audience
Summary: A short story that follows little Frigga (Loki’s daughter). Adolescence is a bitch, even for demigods. As Frigga faces trial for causing trouble in her school, her father shows a more understanding side than she is used to.
Frigga’s neck is aching with the weight of the muzzle bearing down on her mouth. She tries to rub the back of her neck and is immediately yanked down by the chains on her wrists. Her guard gives a look of disapproval and orders her to remain still.
Do all students have to wear this when they are in trouble?
Growing up in a palace, Frigga was no stranger to waiting for her father. She remembers all the other times everyone would be forced to sit in the throne room for hours and not start without his arrival. His tardiness, however, was nothing compared to The King’s. Those days were the true test of patience.
She hopes that today, his schedule is more flexible. The taste of the metal muzzle is reaching the back of her mouth and there isn’t a spell in her grandmother’s grimoire that could wash it out.
One of the professors speaks up. “When will he be here, headmaster?”
The headmaster nods. “I had word that he will be here immediately.”
Frigga exhales. Thank Norns!
Not too long after, a wave of magic appears and her father stands in front of everyone in the great hall.
Frigga’s chest aches when she sees the look of hurt on her father. There’s a sickness in her gut knowing she has disappointed him. She prepares herself for the worst. Ready to hear him publicly shame her in front of the entire faculty.
Loki’s words surprise her.
“Get those off of her.”
The headmaster keeps a neutral face, “I understand how distressing it might be to see your daughter this way, but for the safety of-
“I understand that I didn’t make myself clear. If you don’t get that muzzle and those chains off of my daughter, I will have the heads of each and every one on a stake for all of Asgard to see.”
Frigga has only heard stories about how merciless her father was before she was born, but understanding what his true power is is something different. Perhaps it has to do with his frost giant blood or a quality that is even rarer than that. His threat sounds more of a promise that strikes fear in everyone. It made Frigga feel the need to take a step back.
Without asking the headmaster for permission, the guards obey the prince’s command and unbind Frigga. She lets out a breath of relief and starts rubbing her jaw. Nobody warned her how heavy that thing would be on her.
Loki’s voice grows louder with each word. “She is just a child. Is this school ill-equipped to handle something as minuscule as a temper tantrum?” Loki takes a look around the room and observes the ostentatious decor. “Makes me wonder where all the money for this institution is going,” he snarls.
“Forgive me, your highness, but considering the actions your daughter took, further prevention must be needed.” The headmaster presses his lips together and folds his hands.
“From my understanding, her actions were warranted.” Loki rebuts.
“Seidr is taught here, but never are students allowed to use it on another. She used an excessive amount that terrified the students.”
Frigga rolls her eyes. As if seidr could be quantified. This man speaks as if he’s never seen it himself.
“That’s not true.” Frigga steps forward. “Yes, I did use my magic, but I didn’t mean for it to get out of hand.” Frigga lowers her voice and holds her gaze on the headmaster, “I didn’t hurt anyone.”
The headmaster huffs. “Nevertheless, it is inexcusable. Particularly with your specific abilities, young lady.”
Frigga never had open hostility towards her headmaster, but she always knew he curls up in fear when she passes his way. She opens her mouth, ready to counter the pompous weasel and is cut off.
“I think I have heard enough for today!” Loki barks. “As for you, headmaster, you will be ordered to a hearing about your methods of discipline on the students.”
“I beg your-
Loki holds up his hand and silences him, “I will send someone from Asgard to escort you to the hearing. I wouldn’t bother trying to avoid this if I were you. It would only further delay the situation at hand and add to your sentence.”
“Sentence?”
“Good day.”
Loki places his hand on Frigga’s shoulder and guides her out the school.
Her father’s face is controlled and unreadable. That could only mean he is stressed or upset.
They materialize back in the palace. Frigga sits on one of the plush chairs and they remain silent for a moment.
“Do I need to ask why you used ice magic on your classmates?”
Frigga stands up and keeps her attention on a painting in the foyer.
“Same old story. One of them made a comment on my heritage.” She tucks her hair behind her ear. “I lost my temper and let the magic slip. Nobody got hurt. It was more embarrassing if anything.” She notices her father’s look of confusion. “Hearing their comments is embarrassing-I mean. Not the ice magic.”
“I’m willing to give you an Aesir glamour if that helps.”
Frigga shakes her head. “No, I’m comfortable with my appearance. Lots of people here have blue skin.” She gives a small laugh, “And red eyes. Maybe not at the same time, but…”
Loki takes her hand and gives a comforting smile.
“I don’t want to be ashamed of my blood, even if everyone is telling me otherwise.” She gives a gentle squeeze.
“It’s a relief knowing you are better than me in every way.” Frigga smiles at his comment. “I could hardly handle myself at your age, let alone could I handle another exact replica of myself.” His voice softens, “I’m proud of you.”
Frigga studies her father, wondering if his compliments are a test or genuine pride.
“Father, I’m no stranger to your usual castigation-
Her father barks out a laugh. “Castigation? You have been reading those books I’ve given you!”
Frigga matches her father’s smile, “Of course I have. As I was saying- aren’t you supposed to be doing the opposite of praising me?”
There’s a haunted look on her father’s face. Something she knows he’s not going to tell her just yet.
“I feel that your headmaster’s actions were unfair considering the situation. It seems you were punished enough today.” His tone is even and precise, with a smile not quite reaching his eyes.
“I’m not in trouble.” She frowns.
Her father leads her to his study, gently clutching her arm.
“What do you say, you take a couple weeks off.” Frigga loosens her grip and takes a step back. “Until everything’s sorted out. You’ll be back in school, then.” He clarifies.
Frigga purses her lips. She’s beyond mortified about all the attention the fight gave her, but she wouldn’t think this would mean she needs to avoid school for that long. Everyone knows that nobody forgets about the student that disappears for two weeks after causing trouble.
“I’ll take two days off,” she negotiates, “any longer and everyone at school will make it seem like a bigger problem than it was.”
“Sounds fair.”
Frigga gets a feeling this negotiation isn’t over, but she’s relieved they’ve reached a temporary agreement. They continue their walk back to his study.
“Does mother know.”
“Not yet.” He clears his throat.
“I could go tell her myself.” She offers, beginning to step away towards the training grounds. Her father’s grip tightens ever so slightly.
“That’s not necessary, dear. She will find out soon enough.” While her father is not technically dragging her, she’s getting a feeling that he would prefer she follows him. Frigga considers it would be best that she humors him for the time being.
“Why don’t you help me figure out what food we should be serving at the next conference,” he suggests.
Frigga isn’t naive enough to think her father wants to suddenly start including her in court events. However, her father knows she can’t say no to anything that includes her in the royal court.
“Sure.” She sighs.
“I love the enthusiasm, sweetheart.” He ruffles her hair and leads them in his study. The next half of the day is spent buried in books on international cuisine.
The sun begins setting out the window and Frigga begins to get tired of sitting in her father’s study. But every time she gets a chance to get up and leave, her father finds something else to convince her to stay a bit longer. She stretches her neck and huffs as the words on the book begin to blur. She can tell the next two days will be filled with nothing but distractions.

Thor moved through Stark Tower, his jaw tight. He had one goal in mind: pummel Tony. You’d been with Thor three years at this point, nearly four. It was no secret that you were friends with all the Avengers, and were known to simply hang out with each of them randomly. That didn’t ever bother him. Thor was not the type to tell you which friends you could not have.
However, it seemed that you were spending far too much time with Tony. Only Tony. At first, he had brushed it off. You’d been away on a diplomatic mission, and Tony was eager to hear about your sightseeing.
That was almost three months ago.
Even the others had noticed. They weren’t exactly that good at hiding their looks of pity. As if they felt sorry for him. No, he didn’t want their pity. He wanted some answers, and now. You weren’t home, needing to run some errands. That left Tony.
Storming into the lab, he clenched his fists. Tony looked over, raising an eyebrow. “Whoa, someone looks a bit wound up.” He teased. “You know, you have a pretty hot woman for that tension, Point Break.” His dark eyes went back to whatever he was working on. Thor had no interest in whatever it was.
“Do I?” He ground out.
Tony put down his tools, looking at his friend. “What? Did something happen? Is everything okay?” He asked, standing up, looking worried.
