Now this is a sequel to a previous piece that I wrote some time ago called All we have so to any new readers who see this piece, I suggest reading that fic first right HERE before reading this fic. Now a couple of people had suggested a sequel to all of this but to @spnjediavenger you were the one who made the final decision for me to make this sequel piece. Hope you and everyone else enjoys this piece :)
One moment I was with Thor, Thanos on his knees as both our weapons were embedded into his upperbody and the next everything faded into dust but then I soon found myself back in the very spot in the Wakandan jungle. Thor, Thanos, everyone was gone. Well everyone except for those that started reappearing out of thin air.
All of us were puzzled as to what had happened and whether or not the others had avenged our fall. I looked around the Wakandan jungle until I came across young Groot and he was looking around just as confused as I was.
“Groot!” I called out. He turned as I ran over to him and he asked.
“I am Groot?”
“I don’t know, but if I had to venture a guess, he might be with my brother. Unfortunately I don’t even know where he’s at. Or how long it’s been.”
“Five years.” We turned and there stood Doctor Strange. “I just informed the King of Wakanda and the rest of his people of what’s happened. Now I don’t have a lot of time to explain but can I count on you two to help us finish this once and for all?” Groot and I turned to each other and Groot snarled.
“I am Groot!” Doctor Strange turned to me and I said.
“I’ll say it in a more cleaner way, he says yes and as for me. So long as I get first crack at the Titan who killed my people, count the Goddess of the Stars in as well.”
“I’ll open a portal just a few feet from that direction, join the others over there and you’ll be transported to where the final battle will be at.” We nodded and Stephen disappeared and I turned to Groot.
“You really should watch your mouth sometimes. Next person could understand you and take offense to what you say.”
“I am Groot.”
“I’m going to pretend I didn’t hear you call me that. Save that anger for the battle field, Gods know Thanos will deserve it.” I crossed my gauntlets together and they glowed brightly as my eyes also began to glow with my Starlight power. “Let’s kill him properly this time.”
Groot and I joined up with the rest of the Wakandan army and Steve’s friend Bucky who was the first amongst us to be blipped away five years ago.
Each portal called forth warriors and friends across the galaxy and when I took notice of the Asgardians coming forward dressed to the arms ready for battle, my eyes soon caught sight of Valkyrie on her Pegasus. My heart skipped a beat seeing her again after so long but I knew now wasn’t the time for lovey-dovey eyes right now. The Earth rumbled and I saw as a giant came out of the rubble from the new Avenger’s facility we had last left our friends after the whole Ultron fiasco.
And soon I caught sight of Bruce, Rocket and another man wearing a similar armor suit to Stark’s but it was red and blue. A loud battle cry soon sounded off from our side of the battle field and I gladly joined in as I heard Steve proclaim loud for one and all to hear.
“AVENGERS!!! Assemble.” Then with another great battle cry, we charged at our enemy and they charged in at us until we met in the middle in a great clash of Good vs. Evil. Using my Starlight magic I unleashed my star bolts from my hands down upon any enemy that came by or if my friends and allies were outnumbers, then from my eyes I shot out my Star beam vision and cut through some of the great Leviathan ships or even blowing them up.
It was then I saw a spark of lightning shoot just a few feet from me and I knew right away who it was. I flew up to meet him and as he took down one Leviathan ship, I used my Star beam vision and blew up the rest of the ship. Levitating in the air as the ship fell to the earth, my brother soon caught sight of me.
He had regrown out his hair and beard and I could see some braids hidden within his golden locks. He also had gained some weight, hell if I did have to compare it’s almost like he and Volstag had switched bodies. But when he saw me, his eyes dimmed from the lightning that shown through and he came up to me.
“(Y/n)?”
“Hello brother. Sorry it took so long but I—” he interrupted me by crushing me in a bone-bursting hug. “Thor……We maybe gods but we still need to breathe!”
“Sorry, sorry I’m sorry.” He released me as I let out a long inhale in before circling my arm around to ease the aches in my shoulder. “I just….I can’t believe you’re really back. I thought that we’d—”
“I know. Having heard that it’s been five years, I cannot imagine what you’ve been going through.”
“Oh well it was hard but you know your big brother. Mightiest Avenger and God of Thunder.” I raised my brow at him before looking him up and down. That’s when he broke the façade and wept, “It’s been so hard without you!” he immediately hugged me once again.
“I’ll tell you what brother mine,” I held his arms and cupped the side of his face, “If you join me in a classic game of Star ball tag, then you can give me all the bone-crushing hugs you want. And I won’t even complain once.”
“Deal!” we clasped hands as they sparked with our individual power and our eyes glowed blue and white respectively as we charged up our powers.
You know how when you were younger and there was those big thunderstorms and some parents would say the Gods are bowling up there, well that’s only partially correct. Actually it’s Thor and I playing what we call Star ball tag.
The game is I would fire a star ball outward and then Thor would strike the ball which would cause an explosion of light to expand outward of both starlight and lightning and to add an extra effect, Thor would make sure that (as per his namesake) there was always a loud burst of thunder that would shake your house. And using my power of Starlight, I would command each strand of light where to strike.
As we flew across the sky, Thor and I continued our play of Star ball tag until Thanos had decided to cheat and rain hellfire down upon us. Thor immediately shielded my body with his as he used Stormbreaker to try and destroy any beam that came towards us but it soon became overwhelming and we had no choice but to land and seek shelter.
That was until someone new had arrived and completely obliterated Thanos’ mothership just by flying through it. The ship exploded like a firework in July and I was in awe of whoever it was that had done it.
“Who is that?”
“Calls herself Carol Danvers. She’s impressive with her power. Reminds me of you in a way.” That’s when I took notice of the second armada charging in and I said to my brother.
“You go ahead and make sure Thanos stays off my tail, I’m gonna have some fun with this lot.”
“Have at it little sister.” My powers charged up and I flew towards the army and joined up with the other female heroes to take down the rest of Thanos’ army.
Taking down his army was cake, taking down the Mad Titan was a different story. Even without the power of the stones, Thanos is the strongest warrior in the entire galaxy. His strength is unmeasurable even with the Hulk (as I have seen with my own eyes when he first attacked us after stealing the Power stone).
My brother, Steve, Stark, myself and even Carol Danvers could barely make him take the knee. Plus his resilience held no bounds, he made sure he was going to do whatever it took to get the gauntlet that held those stones. But even with all his strength, it was Stark’s cleverness that got the best of him as a mere mortal took hold of all six infinity stones and with a snap of his fingers, turn Thanos and his army to dust.
However it ended up costing him his life. The power of the stones were too great to hold. Others have tried before but none had ever prevailed, and to a human of Earth, it was like having them be burned from the inside out.
Tony Stark had died a hero that day and may his name ring forever in the halls of Valhalla for he had taken his place at the table of kings.
After the funeral, Thor took me to where he and the other Asgardians had settled in a small town of Norway where we last saw our father before he died. Korg and Meek were very excited to see me back (although I’m still trying to get the bruises from the last time Korg hugged me so tight to heal properly).
Valkyrie was also glad to see me back. In fact she’s even invited me to the local pub the Asgardians have built for a celebration in our victory against Thanos. I was going through the clothing store to get me some casual Midgardian clothes as Thor trailed behind me.
“You know you don’t have to trail behind me like a stalker. If you wanted to come along, all you had to do was ask.” I spoke as I held up a purple blouse and coming from behind one of the mannequins was my brother Thor.
“Just wanted to make sure that you were going to pick the appropriate attire for your date with Valkyrie while also giving you your freedom of choice. Don’t choose that blouse, purple’s never been your color.” I raised my brow at him and he held his arms in surrender as I put the blouse back and looked through another row of clothes.
“It’s not a date, we’re just two girls going out for drinks. That’s all.”
“Keep telling yourself that.” He muttered.
“What was that?”
“Oh nothing, nothing. Don’t mind me. I’ll just be uhh…..over here.” He randomly looked through some leggings so I went over to him and placed my hand over his.
“If you wish to join us, you can.”
“No, no, no this-this is your night sister. Besides I know how much you’ve wanted some alone time with Valkyrie, ever since Sakaar.” I rolled my eyes at him.
“I swear both you and Loki…..” I trailed off as I remembered what had happened on the ship after Asgard had been destroyed. “Sorry, I-I had seen the statue of him on the far side of the town and I—you know I almost kinda expect for him to suddenly appear and say ‘I gotcha’. Not like the first time he’s faked his own death but after what……”
“I know. Some nights I can still hear the sound of his neck snapping. But you avenged him. He’d be proud of you.” Thor clasped his hand on my shoulder shaking it assuringly.
“He’d be proud of you too.”
“Oh sister you think too highly of me.” He shook his head turning away.
“And you think too little of yourself. Who got us out of Sakaar so that we could stop our power-hungry older sister? You.”
“A onetime victory.”
“You’ve done several others. The peace keeping of Vanaheim, defeating the Dark elves, having me at your side as we joined the Avengers for the very first time. And now you helped bring half of the universe back. And yeah while you did mope in your shame and guilt, you got back on your feet to pull through and aid our friends in bringing not just me but everyone else back.”
I saw his lip quiver before he brought me into a crushing embrace and I felt his body tremble.
“You have no idea how much I had missed you these past 5 years sister.” I embraced my brother back, stroking through his hair comfortingly.
“I’d be just as much of a wreck had the roles been reversed. But I’m back, we’re together again and that’s all that matters.” I separated from him and cupped the side of his face and he nodded holding onto my hand while nuzzling into my palm.
At seven o’clock I walked to the pub with Thor escorting me and there we saw Valkyrie sitting at one of the outdoor tables with two mugs of ale in hand. She raised hers up before downing it and I turned to Thor and suggested.
“Last chance to join in.”
“No, like I said this is your night. But I’ll be expecting you back at the house by midnight at the latest. Don’t do anything I would do and don’t let her touch you in any way that makes you uncomfortable.”
“Thor!”
“Sorry, sorry you’re right just friends having a drink. But maybe uhh fix your hair a bit cause it’s…..” he tried fixing the curls of my hair by tucking them out of my face but I tightly gripped his wrist.
“This took me nearly 30 minutes to get right. I think my hair’s just fine.”
“Alright, alright. Maybe put this shawl on it is rather cold here at night.” He brought forth a dark blue shawl and placed it over my shoulders but made sure it covered the brief cleavage that it showed.
“Thor!”
“Okay, okay. I just…..”
“I know, I know. If anything does go wrong, you’ll be the first to know. I swear.” He cupped the side of my face before kissing the crown of my head and told me to have fun. I then left his side and joined Valkyrie and she handed me my brew of ale while she now held a vodka bottle.
“You know he’ll be watching us all night, right?”
“Always the helicopter brother even when he doesn’t want to admit it. At least Loki trusted me with you for the brief time you knew him.”
“No offense princess but you’re remembering that very wrong. Don’t you remember how he had disguised himself as the Grandmaster when we had our first date?”
“Oh yeah that’s right. Must’ve forgotten after you had to knock me out to keep up your façade.”
“Hey I apologized afterwards, didn’t I?” she leaned in whispering in my ear.
“You did.” I turned to her and she reached out and gingerly stroked my cheek.
“I really missed you Princess.”
“Not as much as I missed you. I—I’m so sorry you had to…..”
“How could you have known that you’d be one of the trillions of lives to be taken away? You’re back now, and we can continue where we left off.”
“You sure you don’t want to start over?”
“Life’s too short even for us gods to start over.” She told me. We then leaned in and just as we were about to kiss each other we both heard my brother’s voice cry out.
“YEEEESSSSS!!”
“THOR I’M GONNA STRIKE YOU DOWN WITH A STARBOLT IF YOU DON’T SCRAM NOW!!” I called back to him. At that threat, he took off running and I shook my head. “Big brothers, what can you do with them?”
“At least this one’s more easy going.” I felt her take my chin and turn my head back towards her, “Now where were we?”
“I think right about here.” I leaned forward and made the first move as I kissed her and she placed her hands on my waist pulling me in closer.
“NO LOWER THAN THAT VALKYRIE! AND I—AHHH! NOT COOL (Y/N). YOU AND YOUR SCARY PSYCHIC STARBOLTS!!” Thor’s voice could be heard as we continued our make out session.
My big brother could be an idiot sometimes but then again I wouldn’t change him for anything, because we’re all each other has now in regards to the royal family. He supports me and I’ll have his back, that’s the way it’s been these past 1500 years and as long as I can, I’ll make it stay that way.

❀Thor will be the first to admit it He enjoys the fiery nature you express when you're mad. It displays your passion or frustration about things.
❀That is until your anger is aimed directly at him.
❀For the most part, Thor is usually clueless. He doesn't know what he's done to anger you. Naturally, he'll ask around to see if anyone knows why you're mad at him. It's Nat who suggests he go and ask you himself.
❀Thor is no fool. He knows he needs to react calmly. Whatever the situation is, you two will be able to resolve it, He will not stop until it is sorted.
❀Thor would bring you something; you're favourite hot drink, pastry or flowers.
❀He'd get you to talk about what was going on. He'd listen to what you'd have to say before responding.
❀Then Thor would attempt to make you laugh. He loves it whenever you're fiesty, but your laughter is by far his favorite sound.
❀If you're someone who goes quiet, then Thor's first action is to attempt to make you smile or laugh, he's the one who starts the conversation.
❀Once you are calm and the situation is resolved, Thor will admit how attractive he finds it when you're angry.
Imagine being the God of Desire and seducing Thor during a trip to Omnipotence City
Thor stood out to you, despite the well-muscled bodies of the many other Gods that were here in Omnipotence City tonight. You couldn’t explain why, not even to yourself, but your eyes were stuck on him, even during all of the craziness.
You watched him fight against Zeus, and then decided - why not, the Almighty had been impeding on your territory of seduction for long enough, so you hopped from your place in the stadium, joining Thor and his two women companions, and managed to push the Kronan out of the way of one of those lightning bolts.
When the bolt sticks into the ground, you look over Thor’s figure as he spares you a glance, and then his countenance changes. “My my, better tell your friends to be careful. Lightning sometimes strikes twice,” You said, watching his eyes turn dreamy.
You then give him a wink and do your own magic, causing the guards to fall in love, not with you, but with one another, and flee without casualty, deciding it was better to live together in lust than to die for a God. It was quite sweet.
“I don’t know who you are but thank you,” Thor said, taking the lightning bolt from the ground. The very action was making his eyes turn an electric color, like a blue flame. You smiled at him.
“Everyone knows me in some way or another. The pleasure is all mine though, Thor. Though it could be yours later, if you wish.”
He smiled at you, a cute smile that reminded you of dogs on Earth’s planet, as handsome and charming as the rest of him.
“Does that mean I get to see you again?”
“Oh, sweet Thor, you’re going to be seeing me all night - now get rid of the old bastard, he’s been on his high horse far too long.”
Thor's not stupid, but definitely a bit...out of touch with other people's realities?
I'm imagining him getting into a discussion with a female character (maybe my OC) where he's just not getting the whole toxic masculinity/women choose the bear deal.
And the female character either uses her powers to make Thor a woman or has Loki turn him into a woman for a few days. Maybe even a week. Yes, that week.
Like, full-on Norse Barbie.
So Thor gets a fairly immersive experience of how impossible it is to be a woman in a male-dominated world.
Sometimes things won't click for people unless it happens in their faces or directly to them.
I might write this, but others are welcome to as well.
