Hear me out. Thor and Bruce slow dancing.
‘‘This is your favorite song?’‘ Thor asked, carefully scrolling through Bruce’s beat up music box.
He peeked over at the screen of the music player, letting out a small chortle when he saw the name of the song.
‘‘Donna Summer, I feel love. God I haven’t seen that in ages’‘ He said leaning on Thor’s shoulder.
Both Steve and Tony were planning their next move on Thanos that had completely disappeared after snapping his fingers and well… there wasn’t a lot to do and even Bruce could tell, talking and showing Thor his music was the only way to stop the God of Thunder from completely losing it from grief.
Thor nearly smashed the screen trying to press the play button, the familiar yet nostalgic electric beat of Donna Summers soon faded in and Bruce began smiling, remembering all the times his mom would play it when she cleaned the house, it was a song she played when his dad wasn’t around. When she could try and imagine she wasn’t married to him.
‘‘Are you okay, Banner?’‘ Thor asked suddenly
He blinked ‘’Yeah, why do you ask?’’
He reached up and touched his eye and as Thor said, it was wet.
He laughed shortly ‘’Guess I was’’
Thor stood up, offering his hand to him ‘’I may not know much of human music but I assume dancing is something frequently done alongside it?’’
He took his hand and Thor pulled him from the bed.
He put his arm around Thor and the other put his hand on Bruce’s shoulder, both of them swaying to the upbeat sound of the music that was still playing.
Bruce never really danced and to be fair Thor wasn’t terrible but he could not care about the actual ability either of them had.
To quote Donna Summers; Bruce Banner definitely felt love.
