Thorne Rosier grew up in a pureblood dominated family. His father had three siblings. His name was Charles Rosier. His parents taught him to never love anyone who was a Muggleborn. He followed that closely until he met Rachel. She was a bright girl, invited to Hogwarts as a muggleborn. His brother and older sister, Fallon and Lezlie, didn’t like her, but Charles? Oh Charles. He fell in love. She was a Ravenclaw and he was a Slytherin. They shared a class together and were inseparable for the rest of time. Charles realized he could never let his parents know about her, and though he loved her, they may not. They eloped after their seventh year.

Thorne was born into the Rosier family. He was taught and raised very different from his father. He was taught to love and be kind to everyone. Though they still inherited the Rosier income and wealth, thanks to Rachel and Charles for pretending as if she was never a muggle born. Fallon still visited them with his family, though it usually ended in him and Charles yelling at each other. It was one visit when Fallon decided to take punishment into his own hands. Their House Elf, Edgar, an old but faithful elf, made a mistake and gave Fallon the wrong drink. He freaked out, and started beating the poor house elf… Thorne, who was nine years old, saw and that was the first time he ever felt consuming anger towards family. He immediately yelled at Fallon, who was still in his own rage. He didn’t think, and even if he did he may not have cared, he sent the silver snake head on his cane striking down Thorne’s eyebrow and down his eye. Fallon was thince banished to ever return to his brothers house.

Thorne swore that night, through painful cleaning and bandaging, that he never wanted to be associated with that side of the Rosier name. Ever. He would work as hard as he could to be as far opposite to that name as he could get. When he got to Hogwarts, many people asked how he got his scar. He never gave a true answer. The story changed every time. One kid even got the answer of Thorne fought a dragon when he was 5 and still won even with his battle scar. Sometimes they were very exaggerated, sometimes very blunt and dry. Each changed. No one would know the truth behind his scar. Not even Sebastian, Willow, or Poppy… ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

Appearance:

He has bright blue eyes, that you can get lost in. With wavy, middle parted brown hair. Falling sometimes in his eyes. With a “Rosier” ridge nose. It’s a classic Rosier defying feature. With moles scattered about his body. He’s 6’2”, lean and with a cunty waist. He’s strong and trains often for Quidditch. He has pale skin, with his scar stretching across from his eyebrow down his eye to the beginning of his cheekbone. He has higher cheeks bones and a natural smirk with pointy canines, perfect for making girls (or boys) hearts flutter. He usually wears his white button up Hogwarts shirt, with his tie loosened and sleeves rolled up to his elbows, with grey green slacks. In the winter he wears his robe but he is absolutely one of those boys who swears he never gets cold, while wrapping himself near the fire when no one’s watching.

Thorne is a very charming and charismatic guy. Flirting easily and always ready for trouble. He usually gets himself out of detention easily, either by flirting means, or he just convinces Professor Black that his family is friends with him and he wouldn’t want that ruining his status right? Underneath his flirtatious and charming mask, he’s protective and very stubborn. He loves hard and deep. His closest friend is Sebastian, who he sees as his brother from another mom. They stay up laughing together, or crying sometimes over family stupids or the cruel way the world is to them. He’s reserved, as most know from his story changing of his scar. Only thing most know is that he flirts his way out of trouble, and is absolutely a great kisser. He usually avoids vulnerability, unless he trusts you, and covers it up with sarcastic or dry humor. He very much doesn’t enjoy sharing his feelings, and often can be known that if he doesn’t feel an immediate click, he will push you away.

Dad, Charles Rosier: He has a good relationship, and often turns to his dad for mentor advice. He trusts his father, having stability in the fact his father has never shown his mother, Edgar, or any other “lesser” person feel unequal.

Mother, Rachel nee Warn Rosier: He adores his mom, still writing her letters even at 17. She sends him treats every holiday, and always gives him hugs when he returns home. Sebastian: His blood brother. They share similar wounds form their family, and often find safety in each other. Getting into trouble together, or just whispering about homework in the dead of night, they are in it together.

Anne: He loves to get into trouble with Anne (no spoilers in the story, but she doesn’t die. We’ll never know how yet though 🤷🏼‍♀️🤭) They did have a fling during third year and it happened up until she was cursed, but she broke up with him. They still are close and love to laugh together.

Willow: She is like a little sister to him. He doesn’t have any siblings, but he’s protective over her. She gives him random hugs, and though he was wary about her when he first saw her, he watched how Sebastian fell in love and so he trusts Willow.

Poppy: Poppy is a spitfire and he adores her spirit. She makes him laugh and challenges him in ways he never thought to be challenged. He doesn’t enjoy Magical Beasts as much as she does, but she’s taught him to love them. And he’s learned more than just how to love the beasts, but also how to fall in love. With her.
