The Anne Conundrum

To be quite honest, Sophronia was a bit puzzled as to why Sebastian invited her to meet his sister. They had just recently met and to suddenly be invited to meet his family was...not at all what she had expected. What reason did he have to bring her to meet his sister? Of course, he had said he wanted to cheer her up but he was so quick to invite her when the sprout of their friendship had only just begun to grow. What would she say? How should she treat Anne? Would Anne even want to know about what's happening at Hogwarts? It was most troubling not knowing what to say or do in such a situation.

The terrible thing was, she did not really care for Anne. How could she? They hadn't even met before. She felt bad for her of course, but visiting her and "cheering her up" was something she wasn't too keen on. Not to mention the awkwardness of meeting new people for the first time. It was clear that Sebastian cared for her dearly but she had no reason to. But...his friendship depended on it—perhaps even his love if she were fortunate enough to receive it. Sophronia felt terrible for her lack of enthusiasm and kindness towards this imminent visit, but she had no choice. At least, it seemed that way to her. The visit was decided, all that was left was to prepare and hope for the best
