Presenting thornedlily's scarab oracle reading!
I pulled the crook and flail of Osiris scarab.
This scarab has a bit of duality about it, but that's to be expected considering the general nature of most things ancient Egyptian. It speaks of liminality in every regard: both the intention of doing and the need to reevaluate one's choices. To be less vague, it speaks of both stagnation and initiation: the moment of sitting back and looking everywhere for answers coupled with the moment of consciously making a decision and doing.
Whatever it is that is going on, it seems as though it may be related less to the physical self and more towards the non-physical. For this, the scarab requests that you look deep within for the answers you seek and to take as much time as you need in order to make a good and healthy decision.
Thank you for the well wishes, friend. :)
aww you're welcome :)
50 ft woman and sharktopus!
Oh my goodness you probably sent this sometime last night, so I apologize for not answering promptly!
50 ft Woman: What is your most prominent strength?
Probably my ability to read situations? I can usually understand what other people are feeling or thinking. Not to say I know what to do with my read of the situation, but I can pretty accurately guess a person's feelings.
Sharktopus: What is something you've done that was ridiculous or a bad decision?
Okay well there's this manga that I started buying when I was about a freshman I believe? And it was going to be about 10 volumes long, which seemed pretty reasonable at the time, and I determined that I would purchase all of them. Well now there are about 18 volumes, 17 of which are on my shelf right now. I don't even read it anymore I just got so caught up in buying them and it truly is ridiculous.
Thank you for the ask!!
Happy birthday, lovely!!
Thanks darling!!
