The amazingly developing relationship of Thorgestr and Senua in Hellblade 2 is my air right now — especially knowing that originally he supposed to be alive, — so I'm suffocating, but at least three works about them on ao3 (tysm dear authors) can save me for the next three minutes 💔🤪🙏

And his 'YOU'RE THE ONE WHO CHOOSE' as the last line during the ending scene hits much harder than original closing line or Druth's...*crying*

And, sorry, it's was his actual line 'Your story hasn't been written'?! *now i'm dying*

I knew the ship had sailed the moment I saw him in the first scene (no pun intended 😂): big bad boy with his big and sad blue eyes reminding me of Senua so much🥺

Btw, how would we call their ship shortly (and by meaning)? Thornua? Senuestr? Ax and sword? Thorns and Senses? Tormented souls? Not-their-fathers? Lemme know👉👈

Keep working on restoring my work, settled with a thought to show at least anything from my writings🤣

This is one of my favorite scenes, and the one that came to me almost immediately when I started the fic. It felt so natural to write I shivered with feelings🤪 It's small (probably less than 1% of the whole fic), without context, but it is the one I am really glad to share:

Thórgestr looked at her. So beautiful and so sad it made his heart ache. The northman weighed her revelation. His mind was clear.

'I doubt it.'

"You'd never."

The woman looked up at him genuinely surprised by his reply. Something akin to a smile, rueful, sharp, and broken, just like a crack on a blade, twitched on her lips.

"Thinking about it now... you have a lot of common with him," her confession was audible, but still quieter than a crackle of the fire. Senua's eyes — always hollow and distant when she was looking at the dancing tongues of burning flames — now were full of something indescribable when she met his gaze.

'But he was your everything, and I'm not.'

It was a selfish thought, absolutely. In the worst possible way. And he didn't care about it. But he did care about her — about what she thought in general, about what she thought of Dillion and of ...him. And suddenly it hurts more than expected.

Well, what can I say: starting from scratch to write your work is terribly difficult ...especially when now, due to certain circumstances, there is no time for this at all :'((( But I don't gave up and slowly but surely I am moving towards my goal, though I can admit that sometimes I just want to throw my phone out the window😅🤣🤣

SEND HELP!!!

The girl is too carried away and cannot stop!!

I write about them, I sleep with them, I eat for them..!

This is not my Magnum Opus (which I write in parallel) but I'm so invested in this one it's kinda scary🙀 I’ve been writing this for over a month, and the words keep coming to me — at this rate, I’ll get to the plot of the third game, having written it myself🤪😆

Btw, it’s funny and quite interesting that while I'm in the process of writing this work, several fics came out, and they have such similar moments with mine that I wonder: are we all so smart and we all have one brain cell, or is there a possibility that NT also thought about something similar, but they themselves didn’t get around to it..?

...Or is it generally the fault of only these two that it is so obvious to all of us what they were thinking and what should have happened between them outside of what was shown in the game?😂 Because even the wording of some of the descriptions practically coincides that I even had to correct something to be slightly different😁

The most interesting thing in all this is that for the sake of writing this fic, I have already reviewed the walkthrough of the game 10 times, and each time I discover some new details that seem to have never been talked about or discussed here before🤔

So I’m also eager to create a post with an analysis of what I noticed during my multiple rewatching; I hope yours will be added to my observations when the time comes!

I would really like to share at least something with you, but, perhaps, I’ll keep the intrigue until the release..? In turn, I will try to finish as quickly as possible!

As they say, the worst disaster comes without warning... Apparently, I was too passionate about writing the work that the file could not stand it and was completely deleted due to some error))0)

For some reason, I didn’t even cry — perhaps, somewhere deep down in my soul, I intuitively sensed this. I'm frustrated, but I didn’t seem to be too desperate, I remember almost everything I wrote to recreate it, at least the sequence of scenes and the general meaning.

But it is still very disappointing: it was 25k words... (ಥ ͜ʖಥ)

Or was it a sign that I needed to re-examine some parts from a different angle with a clear view..?

So my work will take longer than expected, but I want to finish it too much to give up that easily💪 Believe in me, like Dillion and Thórgestr believed in Senua, and one day Thorns and Senses will see the light of day, I promise🤞🤞
