Tilicho Lake takes you to a charming community populated by a large variety of people from many ethnic groups and provides breathtaking views of the White Himalayas. This route has been altered even though it is the same as the Annapurna Circuit; from Manang, instead of travelling up the valley to Tanki Manang and Yak Kharka, this route goes to the central valley to the west and passes through Khanshar Village, also known as "The Last Village of Nepal," and climbs to Tilicho Lake before continuing on to Yak Kharka and the 5416-meter-high Thorang La Pass.
Tilicho Lake is situated in the Manang district at a height of 4919 meters. It is o ne of the highest lakes in the world and is located at the highest elevation. It is considered as one of the Himalayan Lake of Nepal. By melting glaciers on the Thorung Peak and Annapurna Mountain's northern slope, this lake was created. Hindus from all over the world congregate in Tilicho Lake to take sacred baths because it is one of their holiest lakes. The Tilicho Lake Trek is one of the challenging trekking adventures in the Annapurna region because the lake is situated in a remote location of the region. The Tilicho Lake Trek is appropriate for hikers looking for exciting and difficult hikes in the Annapurna region.
A breathtaking view of the area's majestic mountains, including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri, and Himchuli, may be seen on the Tilicho Lake hike. The trekkers always like it, which makes the lengthy journey less challenging. The Tilicho trek's other highlights include stunning scenery, valleys, green hills, lush woods, artistic waterfalls, serene lakes, beautiful rivers, gorges, holy temples, vibrant monasteries, and Gompas.
