Just boarded the first flight in my journey to Vancouver, BC. I'm comin for ya, thosechangingtrees!
Missed out on a job at a local nursery because my schedule is too full at the sweet shop but I gotta say I’m rather proud of myself for pursuing such lovely opportunities lately! I have an amazing job I love doing, too many trips to lovely places planned to count, new US drivers license (finally), and an incredibly handsome fella coming to visit in exactly one weeks time. Life is good, folks.
myslowdescentintoalcoholism wants five facts about me so I'll request the same from bridgetthemagnificent, thosechangingtrees, kittymachasa, papperbok-writer, and archaeo-madness.
1. The other day I had new friends over and they discovered my 1950's era briefcase stuffed with freezies, and I think that describes me pretty accurately.
2. My thumbs and pinkies are double jointed where they meet my palms and I think that's hampered my ability to play violin.
3. I've had 9 teeth pulled since I was 14 because I have an abnormally small mouth (don't.)
4. At one point I had a cat named Moe and a teddy bear named Mo and I knew I was pronouncing one without the E.
5. Mo the bear still sleeps in my bed. I rescued him from a second hand store and that's a bond that can't be broken.

I told you not too look it up. (But I’m so glad you did.)
I believe the gist of the statement was "Grace, I have experienced something that has elicited an interesting reaction. Do not pursue that interesting reaction yourself."
So yeah, I looked it up. Of COURSE I looked it up.

Also: DON’T LOOK UP THE FUCKYEAHTACOS BLOG.
OH GOD AUSTIN
Actually, there's a lot more literal tacos in those pictures than I expected. Huh. You live and learn.

GoT is absolutely something I would love, but I just haven’t had interest for tv these past few years (seriously, himym was my only show). In other words, I have no idea what a Purple Wedding is but I assume it doesn’t include Barney the dinosaur?
GoT is brutal and gratuitous but I was raised on fantasy and adventure, so here we are. I can't say for sure that Barney won't be in this episode, it's really full of twists, but the last time a wedding happened on this stupid show, no one left happy.

I know you said the himym comment as a joke but.. I felt shitty because of emotions after every single episode this season. Seriously. So do give at least some credit to that cause.
It's so much worse when you already know how it ends too. For so many reasons. I'm changing pace before the last two episodes and watching Game of Thrones. That won't POSSIBLY give me strong emotions! It's just the Purple Wedding! What could POSSIBLY GO WRONG?

I actually snorted and laughed not because of your misfortune but because “I got gluten free treats for my husband!” is apparently way funnier a sentence to me than it would be to any normal person…
People those gluten free treats have made happy, a comprehensive list:
