Rough Outline of Chapters
These are WIP Chapter outlines and summaries of a Story i am writing in a Fantasy world that i am making at the same time!
Planned mostly every major thing until Chapter 4 Mutilation of Life and forgotten Teachings
the rest is just a unplanned collection of story beats, Map is for personal wayfinding, also always neat to have a visual aid !
Chapter 1 Scar’s
Intro
Wakes up in wildernes under snow after 3 days of travel, gets up and walks, finds a frozen lake, small interaction with lake that discribes the face of MC, looks beneath ice, sees tree and some existing life
far side of lake is a Excrement mound, digs in it for confirmation of direhog, finds direhog dead in a clearing, no predators normally hunt them in the vicinity, flashback to her learning about it from mother
skins the hog, fells two smaller trees, makes makeshift sled and puts carcass with hide on sled, walks back where comes from, the beast that killed the Hog, A Scar, finds her, attacks her, she runs and tries to injure the beast, they get on the lake, it breaks under them, they fall in, the beast gets impaled by a tree in the lake crawls out and dies at shore, she loses her axe, gets out and rapidly tries to dry off as much as possible by making a fire, semi successful, she puts parts of the beast on the fire for food, rest on sled, hurries back within a day, collapses at gate
Loss of weapon is shameful to her and the other people, due to rarity of the material it was made from, extra for her as that was supposed to be her final hunt before becoming an adult by the rite of passage in the capital, failed that too, needs to recover
Chapter 2 What is it to Heal
Heals but is judged by Garmen, the Elder Speaker and Adults, in the Main House, punishment
forced to hunt while she heals with elder supervision but only a knife, only small time prey, critters, needs to take care of Meat bees and Oupt too, train the three kids of the village old enough to learn
Two Unrooted, a old man in his last years and a middle aged man rest in town for a few days, they tell her stories of their life without home and of what they experienced, they tell her tall tales and lie/exaggerate, she feels connected because her mother left her in the village as she was young, other told her she wanted to sever the roots she grew in the village
elders forbid her from speaking to them even if that lift up her spirit,
When they leave to the top of the Sorgens Horn the old man tells her hes going for his last look upon Jarkes and advises her to never take life for granted, even the village and thatr in the end they generally want her to be ready to survive
she begins training more harsh, energized, a year passes and she experiences a once in centurie event, the Day of the Blood Harvest, and the Shamans elder dies a few weeks later, sharing his last moments with the new Elder and Viveka, the new Elder being the person who took care of her when her mother left

Chapter 3 Hunter
First hunt back at it fully healed hunt is a Success but still only has a Knife, success, finds out someone from the village followed her, is angry at them, lashes out,emotionally and lets every frustration out, if they are happy now etc
The person from village leads her back to the lake she lost the axe in,
“You think youre ready? Then get it back”, forces her to dive down and retrieve it, she does it, person made fire,they rest, and get back home
Prep Travel to capital for trials
Chapter 4 Mutilation of Life and forgotten Teachings
Travel first few days
Finds mutilated corpse of beast, a Sark, killed by by person without antthing being used for anything
Against the teachings
Uses what she can from corpse, cuts the rest up and hangs it in the trees for birds to get them easier, safer, takes spine and skull with her
Ends with her arrival at the great descend, from the Sorgen valley highland into main Jarkes
