thotcocoa replied to your post “How do you know if an Aquarius likes you?”
thanks 4 tha drag
anytime :))))
@thotcocoa what im saying is it just goes to show how when it comes to black hair nonblack women dont know what to do bc in general society doesnt really provide like any mainstream ways to like easily do hair like that. like one of my friends has trouble doing nonblack ppl’s hair bc its so slippery and its not what she grew up around. and my reasoning for making that post was rooted in how nonblack women fetishize having mixed kids but still dont understand that the kids is still black and like depending on genetics i guess the hair isnt always gonna be super loose curls or waves
and i never said it was a womans job to do hair im just speaking from my own experiences and observations. my mom isnt black and is a single mother too
and i feel like in the black community hair has always been an important part of identity for black women and im saying im lucky my mom understood that because some biracial kids i knew, in my experience, didnt have a nonblack parent that completely understood the importance of hair in regards to black culture

thotcocoa replied to your post “how did you decide on hysterical naked as a band name?”
omg im from a very pretentiously indie place and there was this band called goat that everyone like it was a high school band and this kid at my school told me to come to his concert and i was like "it's the groves right" and he was like "actually it's only groves because having a 'the' in front of your band name is pretentious" like if that aint the moST
OH MY GOD that is so funny it kind of reminds me of the facebook vs facebook like if you’re even debating about the ‘the’ then you know it’s pretentious
thotcocoa replied to your post:
i understand that but it’s better when you’re making money and you’ll probably settle into it!!
Yeah :/
