The Hows Of Us
So this would be my "realization"/"thoughts" on THOU. This would also be my first time to make this on a local movie.
I liked how the movie was built. The fact that it's romance themed pero you could relate kahit single ka.
So here it goes...
1. Learn when to give up and learn to push through.
If you are tired, learn to stop. You don't have to keep going lalo na kapag walang result na nakukuha. You are human being. Napapagod. Nasasaktan. Learn to give up when you think you've had enough. Hindi ka martyr para dalhin yung burden ng ibang tao. And also learn to push through. Your life doesn't end with giving up. Learn to live and continue your journey. Giving up is part of growing.
2. Your sentence must not end.
Life is a continuous process. George had to stop loving Primo in order for her to progress. But her stop became pause and was temporary. The sentence is your life and the punctuation marks serve as your decisions. Period for end, commas for short pauses, ellipses for longer pauses, and semi-colon for some instance where you chose to continue where in fact you want to end your story. Please have commas and ellipses on your life. No periods and avoid semi-colons.
3. Save what must be saved
So many hows a couple could have. Pero the hardest and most painful how of all hows is the how on "how do we save us?". You know your relationship's on the rocks 'pag ito na yung huling how sa listahan mo. If you entered into a relationship be sure to be ready sa lahat ng battles na mae-encounter niyo. As what mentioned from the movie, relationship is a war and full of battles. You must gear up! You must prepare for the worst. Hindi instant mawala ang pain so save what must be saved habang pwede pa.
4. Perspectives
The movie taught me to look on the different perspectives of life. My favorite scene sa THOU was when Mikko and George were drinking wine and Mikko opened up about the perspectives of greener pasture which made me realized lots of things. You cannot file a complaint with life if the whole time, you only focus on one side of it. Hindi mo magegets ang lahat kung hindi ka magiiba iba ng tingin sa buhay. Learn to look for the better in worse cases. Learn to know when will be the next sunrise after sunset. Learn to live a life fully equipped with lessons from the different stands of different situations.
Don't know what I've wrote pero ito kasi talaga yung realizations ko sa movie and I highly recommend this hindi lang sa mga on-the-rock ang relationship but also sa mga single na naghahanap ng answers to all the hows of their lives. 🙃
I would also want to commend the whole team of THOU for putting up a great and worthy movie for all ages. The story was beyond greatness. Congrats guys! Job well done!
