Running shoulder to shoulder with lions and wolves. But you’re nothing. A pack of liars. Fakers. Cowards. Trapped now forever in this ghost town. Shambling spectres haunting these streets. Boundaries not set by concrete and bars–boundaries are set by neighborhoods and bars. You are paralyzed by apathy and cloaked in jaded elitism. Your wasted potential surrounds me, binds me, suffocates me. I yearn to retreat from your fortresses of bloated excess. My ears fall deaf to your stammering quips and shrill complaints. We stand eternal on the cusp of something great destined to always fall short. Decimation may be our only saving grace. Or will we stand eternal?

x-mas gift from @heyysquirrel / now playing: thou • summit • 2018 2xLP deluxe reissue including material from “the archer and the owle” EP in tip-on gatefold sleeve w/matte finish & spot gloss print, red flooded inner pockets, and a 16-page 11x11” booklet • i’ve discovered a lot of heavy music in the last 5 years or so that is all extremely cathartic, but none more so than Thou. even when i don’t read the lyrics (which are all incredible) and can’t really decipher what bryan is vocalizing, i can FEEL it. it sounds pretentious but it’s true ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ . few bands can so consistently give me goosebumps. i’d say this is my favorite album of theirs, but for it to be true i’d have to say that about everything they’ve released. and as always, the packaging is incredible. i’m so thankful to @gileadmedia for putting out such beautiful records. • #vinyl #thou #thouband #thousummit #gileadmedia @thou_band_official @thou_band @thou_band_unofficial https://www.instagram.com/p/B6lUPXUF481/?igshid=515tblegckhh
