Title- 'Thought Variables' . (Latepost) Medium - Hand embroidery and Mixed Media (Cotton rags, polyester threads, silk-screen pasted and acrylic colours) on stretched Canvas, 2ft x 3ft . This work is a projection of the chaotic nature of thoughts in the human mind. Here, I explore the various ‘tendencies’ of thoughts, their characteristics, their peculiar identities assigned to the concepts or experiences, through the medium of fabric. Some places are hand-embroidered while at some, pieces of fabric are pasted creating a vibrant collage, with a randomness in the abstract/semi-abstract composition. Here subconsciously I have used my instinctual Pareidolic tendency of creating face-like shapes out of random patterns. The many-faced head hints towards a many-sided persona with a play of random ‘thought-fabrics’ inside the head. The mirror in the hand of the being suggests introspection. .
