This is random (mostly because most people here don't know I like fnaf probably dtugftugtf) but like, with the thought that Gregory is gonna be the protagonist in Help Wanted 2, do y'all understand how fucking terrifying that's going to be potentially?? Like bro, what if they make you shorter to make it seem more like a kid? I would shit my pants in the normal game, but this one where you're potentially *smaller*?

sometimes i think about those people who actually took commissions to read a scene in a Homestuck character’s voice back in like 2013-2015

Did they move on to bigger roles? 

How many of them actually perused a career in voice acting? 

If any of them did I hope they’re doing well, even if it’s for small parts. They did a really good job bringing characters to life with no idea with how they would sound like at all. No descriptions, no anything that would help shape an idea of their voice sans their typing quirk and maybe animations.

Random hopes for sinnoh remakes/ideas I wanted to put in a fan game remake but I'd be hella happy to give up if it meant real ones are happening! * team galactic redemption plot * if tg gets redesigns, all I hope is that they don't reduce the silliness, and that they don't redesign the female grunts to match the weird pattern of all the rest of em. Seriously I just love that they're actually just the same outfit with a dress hem added. No nonsense needing to be 'sexy' or whatever! * poffin making needs to return, but maybe with different gameplay or rebalanced or something? * I'd like if contests were made like hoenn's more polished system, or if they reworked the iffy dance minigame to that same level of polish * UNDERGROUND IS PERFECT, JUST BRING IT BACK * i t was such a shame oras didn't have customization! Like, even if its just skin and hair colour changes for a preset model. Or everyone has to play as default dawn and Lucas but you can change between a few different costumes! * POKEMON FOLLOWING BEHIND YOU * I had a weird idea for how the whole giratina thing could have the same 'holy shit' impact that kyigre and groudon had. Like instead of the over world being droughty or flooded, it could be ABSENT OF ALL TIME AND SPACE! You get to walk through the world and see everyone is frozen like statues except those who were at the epicentre of the event. And paths warp in all the wrong places so its like a teleport puzzle to get through it all to reach the portal to the distortion world. Like the ending world in kingdom hearts 1! A nostalgia trip thru all the cities you explored, seeing all your friends trapped and getting really frickin amped to save the world! * I dunno why but... Cyrus with white hair. I always found his design to be unfitting, I mean he claims to be emotionless so you would think he'd look less goofy than the rest of the team. And I dunno why but making his hair not blue is enough for me. Also makes him more striking kinda, cos I mean there's already a blue haired admin and all the grunts are turquoise. Its a weird break of the colour theming to me, merely a lighter blue doesn't stand out enough for the boss. Especially when his Japanese name literally means red! (And his English one means sun...) * sinnoh mom needs mo love! Johanna having her own contest journey behind the scenes was a nice way to give her a bigger role, but then they didn't give her a bigger role. Alas! * the stat trainers were cool, they also need a bigger role than just being the first test of the double battle partners system. Giv me optional friends time! THE DREAM TEAM

Thoughts n' Things | #2

Here's something that's been on my mind for a little bit tonight: what do y'all do to sate your boredom? I feel like it gets me restless sometimes, and that's usually not helped when I also find it surprisingly difficult to find anything to do at all.

Tomorrow's another day though, so in that case, I won't mind if I end up not making much out of the night. In addition though, to make things a bit interesting: tonight's music pick is Hozier's "Too Sweet"! I'd seen him live a few weeks or so back, and it was genuinely unreal- pun mostly intended.

Thoughts n' Things | #1

Hi again! Thought I'd try something a bit new with this one: ideally a sort of semi-regular series of posts just documenting whatever's on my mind; whatever I find worth talking about.

To start, I had dinner not that long ago! It was some special burger ordered out from a place sort of local to me, with really nothing else but ketchup, mustard and relish to top it. It was... a little more lackluster than however I was picturing it, for some reason. Truth be told, I didn't mind it, and a good burger is a good burger to me anyway.

I guess the lesson here is to always appreciate the smaller things if they make you happy! What makes you happy is important like little else. (... Even if it did run me a little over $10 for a burger fairly less interesting than I was expecting. ^^)

Do you ever have the strong urge to wander out into the wilderness until you find a nice grassy hill to lay on and watch the clouds and contemplate life? Not in a sad way, but a “oh wow I am alive and the sun exists and isn’t that just astounding” kind of way

i have an AO3 account now, for no foreseeable reason other than to access works that are restricted to members instead of public. which is cool and all, but, like... i wish i would actually take the creative risk of contributing to a fandom at some point. ever.
