My prof kinda scolded my psych class today about high percentages of plagiarism in their papers. He said most people had over 20% that was caught for plagiarism. 

I was like, ehhhhhhhh well i wrote mine without really reading the journals so.. I should be fine. I ran it through two plagiarism checkers just to be sure and yeah 0%. =)

Low key tho, like this is a psych two class. A lot of my classmates are failing tests and getting high plagiarism scores like....why are you in psych two then? I get doing bad in a 101 class, but to continue to another level...you have to be interested in it right? I don’t get it.

Oh boy, got the grades back for the 3d assignment I had last year. C is definitely not a bad grade, considering I learned 3 months worth of curriculum in the span of 2 weeks. 

In the end it was all about understanding the software, something I’ve had immense problem with the first 2 months of school. The teacher only being able to help one person at a time, 4 hours a week didn’t really help. 

That C is pretty much me sitting down in the holiday and working hard as heck to catch up with the rest of my class. Corners were cut, mistakes were made, but I delivered on time and I delivered the best I could make with the time at hand. 

When I deliver the next assignment, I’ll show just how much better I’ve become.

The worst part about getting back into sex work right now isn't actually my boy-toy and worrying about how he feels about it. 

It's dealing with the whole... Shrink versus sex work issue. There is so much stigma in the psychology field regarding sex work, and it's already a boys club (more so psychiatry than psychology) and there are people who  still put weight in Freud.  Ugh. 

I don't want it to get to the point where I have to pick one or the other. Why is there so much of an issue with doing both?

I'm very impressed by non-traditional/adult students.  I got through school by sprinting through the whole thing in one go, without any pauses.  I think if I'd tried to take any time off, at any point--especially a year or more--I would never have been able to finish. If I'd tried to come back I would have just crashed and burned.

So, yeah, very impressed by the strength it takes to actually succeed at returning to school when you're older.
