I am so tired so I searched for words that could convey that. 

Then I couldn’t find them so I tried to write my own. Then I couldn’t write my own so I drew the same tree I’ve drawn a million times. Small things have profound impacts. I planted a tree on my problems thinking that tomorrow it will outgrow them, not cast a shadow over me. I would love to run but my own two feet wouldn’t be able to carry me if I even had the chance. 

The ink under my nails reminds me of blood. The way it seeps out when you’ve accidentally done something to cut the skin beneath the surface. It’s black and it pools and it pops like an outline in a similar way. Truth is I want to sleep, and I could, but I can’t.

I don’t think the person I was in middle school, or high school, would be proud of the person I am now, and I don’t think that matters much

I was gifted such a beautiful boy today!! I don't normally name my plants but does anyone have any ideas??

I got back my grade for some drawing homework and I'm doing really really well and it feels SO GOOD. This week has got a lot of stressful stuff going on, so I'm hoping it'll get easier after I get through this week. Crossing my fingers!!

The more and more I learn about the world the more and more I am excited to travel it. I can’t wait until I am old enough to walk the fields in Washington and visit the flower markets in San Francisco and Amsterdam.
