I guess you could say it was mostly bc everyone assumed tau volantis was the “ marker home world” and that’s the reason why issac didn’t question it to much … but even then it’s still ????????? bc Issac of all ppl should know HOW the maker gets into your head and manipulates you to do shit lol
honestly i can forgive everyone else for thinking it was something innocuous, but not isaac, not when he knows better than anyone what it’s like. it’s such a weird kind of oversight to me that they’d have him react to marker script like that, rather than have him be realistically incredulous after everything he’s been through, and question it, question why the admiral was so obsessed with making that key that she scrawled it all over her walls. them being on tau volantis just solidifies this for me more, like if isaac assumed this was the marker home world, wouldn’t he think their influence would be the strongest there?? idk man it’s just ... ugh
