      Kris’ voice was soft, and if they hadn’t moved closer to Susie, the other probably would’ve have heard them. Unless she had really good hearing, that is. Kris was usually used to having their voice being drowned out by the background noises of the classroom and everything, though.

      “I know... lots of people go to the library sometimes. My home’s also free, though.”
