I hope maybe this might negate some of the disappointment from lack of engagement. I know I am VERY guilty of that. But, I've read so many of your posts and absolutely love them! I've been working on a 00Q fic for so long that follows canon right up to the end of Spectre with one change, more as a the background stuff that occurs During the Films, so to speak. What I really enjoy about your posts is that some of how I've written Bond was inspired by you and even some of how I handled his character too. I honestly can't say when I'll have it uploaded to Ao3, but I'd like to think it's reasonably 70% complete. I'm a stickler for details, so I tend to take a long time.
Also, Quantum of Solace is unironically my favourite next to Skyfall because of how it shapes James, and I really enjoy your takes on it too. I hope you get more engagement give how much you write! I'm just a little bit of a shadow in fandom and mildly obsessed with these two utter dorks for a few years.

I Get it. and I post without expectation cuz like the good thing abt my brain is I do at least resist the, like, Contentification of blogging, if that makes sense,-- like, if I disappear it's cuz the hyperfixation faded lol not cuz I burnt out. so there's that ig? but also I very much am sitting here like hello! QoS-- ayyyyyy fellow QoS enjoyer, riiiiseee!!!! Can you believe that like this time last year I had maybe watched some bits of Skyfall and Spectre but only rly knew CR and QoS by osmosis/reputation... and look at me now, lol. If any of the Craig Bond movies lives rent free in my mind it is QoS. I seriously think it deserves slash NEEDS a fuckton of scholarship, like, definitely it deserves sooo much more. also shoutout to weidli who also mentioned a thing abt observing a divide among others between the ppl who see skyfall as foundational for Bond and the ppl who see CR/QoS, that also planted a seed in my head abt QoS.
but no, seriously, I DO think there's a lot of Bond in QoS that does in fact greatly inform Bond's character!!! And ALSO M, and also Bond and M's relationship!!! genuinely drives me feral.
