he may not have possessed the magic but fortunately azul was not without his mind. a sharp one at that, thus he lent his skills in various places, not all of them proper and dignified, as a means to seize some sort of cred. thus did he find himself not quite as weak and pathetic as he had been, washing up on the shore nearly a month ago without a whisper to his name.
instead, he took his place in the back of a restaurant, closed entirely just for his pleasure in a show of good faith, as a waiter took his order, bowed and made his way to the kitchen. soft jazz filled the spaces of silence as azul poured a cup of tea, but soon enough that quaint silence was disturbed by an non-permitted stranger wandering through the entrance.
“ ma’am, i’m afraid this venue is reserved for the evening-- “ one of the waiters paused cleaning a table to approach the entering party, but azul cleared his throat.
“ no no, i could do with some company after all. “ his smile widened and he gestured over to the seat at his table. rising, he proceeded to move out the chair, in order for her to sit, before offering a smart and polite bow. “ eating alone in an unfamiliar city is only entertaining for so long, you see. feel free to order anything you’d like, my treat. “ oh to be this generous, surely it would not last for long.
