Juliet was drunk. While this was far from the norm for her, it had certainly become the norm since she had moved in with Addison. In her mind, she was just finally living her best single life and being a young person. Or at least that’s what she tried to tell herself. So she was out again, and she had somehow managed to lose track of her friends, when she stumbled into someone, spilling her drink of them. “Oh, shit, sorry,” she mumbled attempting to wipe the spill off of the person as she looked up to the stranger’s face. Only it wasn’t a stranger at all. “Or maybe I’m not.” Truthfully, it was somewhat shocking she had managed to avoid Jake this whole time. She had heard rumors that he was at Lake George, and that enough was too close for Juliet’s comfort, but she hadn’t seen him yet and it lured her into a false sense of security and she had gotten a little reckless and not thought about the possibility of seeing him, more concerned with not running into Reece.
