“so, i’ve had a fun week.” cal says with a touch too much sarcasm as he all but drops down beside aayla, letting the exhaustion he’s been staving off finally show. it’s probably not fair of him to drop his stresses on them like this but - without his own master here to help guide him through such rapid, unstable changes in his life, cal found a sense of calm and.. trust with aayla he desperately needed after escaping the knights and their torture. “like - become a hermit in the desert kind of fun. please tell me yours has been better.”
