Feedback on Tumblr's new fail change
we used to be able to tap the name of a user in the reblog chain and go straight to that post, nestled chronologically in their blog. that was cool. bring that back
being able to see how much interaction our addition to a thread gets is a good idea. it's always time-consuming to dig through the notes and reblogs to learn this
...however, why punish everyone else - including OP - when this could be an added feature, instead of a dimunition?
in short: cool idea to make rebloggers better able to see their contribution to a larger conversation. restoring something we lost would do much of why this change appears to have been implemented
but don't make this new functionality hide things or make following the overall conversation harder. that defeats the purpose
