she should have seen this coming long ago. when he’d first hired her, she had expected jobs like this. distracting his men, relaxing him at the end of the day, seducing his enemies to see if they knew anything. then she’d been seeing him more and more often privately, the man monopolizing her time and it had changed her idea of what this job really was. it’s why it was more surprising that it should have been when this job came up. enemy, lots of security, has a soft spot for curvaceous brunettes. she’d been given drugs to make him sleep deep, enough for her to implant a chip in his phone to keep track of everything he did, as well as take photos of all the files he’d had in his briefcase. it had been an easy mission, even when he’d left marks on her neck with kisses and bruises on her hips from when she’d ridden him. the hardest part of it all was leaving her personal feelings at the door. this morning though, they’ve all flooded through. her insecurity about the ob she’s been doing, the fear of failing, the fact that her feelings for eli were stronger than they should be. still, she could dive into how off she felt later. she had to finish her report first. knocking on his apartment door, she waited for him to open the door before offering a smile. “hey, good morning. can i come in? i have some good news from last night.” ( @starkscribed )
