"Because I don't want to be here and am only here because you submitted that damn profile behind my back and blackmailed me into coming." Reaching out, she gently pinched her sister's waist, just as the girl pushed her towards the next table where her date was being held. "Go be nice for once, smiles don't kill you."
Maya was a firm believer in protecting herself. As much as people believed it was from simply being hurt, the blonde really protected herself from the judgement she was sure she would receive when people got close enough to find out the kind of person she really was, a judgement she knew she would not be able to handle. Sighing, she made her way over to the table, sliding into the seat opposite her date, fully ready to show just how little they'd want to get to know her, only for it to be a familiar face. "Well, you've already seen me crying whilst standing on my garden table, so it's not like this can be any worse, right?"
