Things these last two years have been nothing but a nightmare for Milena Belikova. She had been through hell and back since she reached of age; a group of these pale faced monsters who called themselves the Volturi sought the young peasant girl out since puberty. The Blacksmith’s youngest child out of six children and one of the only two daughters was blessed with a gift. A gift that caught the eye of many people in their village. Some called her a witch while others said she was blessed by the hand of God himself thus calling her an Angel. Their small village was often robbed by thieves and Milena always knew when they were coming. At first many thought this ability -- being clairvoyant was just it, but oh no it was only the beginning. As she gotten older Milena began to detect those who were gifted like her and with a simple touch would just know what ability that made them dangerous. The word began to spread of the gifted Blacksmith’s daughter and it spread far and wide indeed for it caught the eye of a group of immortal men who resided in Greece. Though they waited in the shadows for her to reach her maturity and when she did -- they plucked Milena away in the dead of night. When she awoke Milena found herself with a proposition from the man named Aro. Her gift had caught her sight and wanted her to join their ranks. He even told her they could make her a benevolent Goddess. Though something was off to Milena and when Aro touched her hand Milena knew they were lying. When they confided her to the holding chambers the human made the escape. Of course it did come and haunt her for Milena’s family paid the price with their lives. All their throats ripped out with blood everywhere but in their bodies.
Using the best of her ability Milena made sure to always stay one step ahead and at times it almost costed her morality flowing through her. On her recent adventures Milena began to take shelter in a small village deep in Spain and there is where she gained allies. Two men, two brothers, two pale faces much like Aro approached Milena and told her that they were against the Volturi and can help her stay away from them. She was hesitate at first but Milena knew she needed an ear in the world of the supernatural and took the brothers up on their offer. One brother was gifted like her, Demetri is his name and told Milena he was a tracker so if the Volturi moved he would know it before she would. They extended their hospitality by allowing Milena to live in their rather large mansion that was surrounded by a breathtaking garden and the forest all around. Only a single road connected the estate to the village and it went all the way through the thick forest.
Walking around a flower bed, Milena’s chocolate eyes landed on the other brother; Felix was his name. He wasn’t as pale like usually nor was his eyes black, but red when they first met. “I take it the blood quite satisfied you?” the noblewoman asks. Earlier the maid told her that the brothers went out to go hunt -- unbeknownst to Milena the two really sank their teeth into villagers. “I know I have thanked your brother and you quite enough for taking me in,” her mixed accent coming out strong. “but still -- thank you, m’Lord.” When traveling many people first took notice in Milena’s beauty until she spoke. Her accent was a mixture of Siberian, Romanian, and Bulgarian. Mr. Belikova held from Sibera while her mother held from Romania and Bulgaria. “I overheard some of the servants talking about some guests are coming in?” It was the first Milena had heard of it and part of her worried that it could be vampires who worked for the Volturi or worse -- are the Volturi. “Do I have anything to fear from your guests, Lord Felix?” She also began to worry what if their appetite was different from the brothers? Demetri told her Felix and him were the only ones who survived off of animals and commented that her blood would be an exotic taste for an immortal due to her heritage.
