@devilsmenu asked: [ win ] sender lets receiver beat them in a game
CJ was so excited when she'd won the game. She'd been trying so hard to beat him for a while now. "Finally! I beat you! Take that!"

Doll Parts || Tony, Kurt, & Bobby
Kurt wasn't one for traveling to the city. There was too much trouble in wearing a disguise with all the makeup and discomfort of tucking his tail into a pair of pants. Thankfully, they were coming to Stark Tower on official business. He could rest easy, sliding through the Manhattan skyline at Bobby's side on one of Bobby's ice slides, dressed in their matching yellow and black X-Men uniforms. Bobby's had to be made from unstable molecules, of course, least his clothes freeze and fall apart from his organic ice form.
"I think I see Stark," Bobby said. He was near the top floor, where an enormous balcony overlooked the city, one that was big enough to house a helipad. "And I'd say we're just in time for our 4 o'clock. Beam us down, Scotty!"
"On three, mein captain," Kurt said, grinning. He gripped Bobby's shoulder tightly as the the ice beneath their feet began to dissipate to water vapor. As gravity began to pull them down, Kurt counted, "Eins, zwei, drei!" With a puff of purple smoke the pair disappeared before reappearing on the balcony of Stark Tower, the stench of brimstone lingering for a moment before the wind carried it away.
Along Came a Spider || Stark & Drew
Seated with her legs crossed on the comfy sofa of Stark Tower's lobby, Jessica Drew wasn't sure what to anticipate from Tony Stark. She'd read his case files, the psych assessments, his history. If he was every bit the man-child he sounded, then she would have her work cut out for her. Resting on her nose were horn-rimmed glasses, but certainly not the prescription eye wear one might expect. Each lense was equipt with facial recognition software, decades ahead of Facebook's infantile tech. As she looked over her resume to remind herself of her doctored credentials, the implant in her watch was scanning the area for signs of radiation irregularities.
"Mr. Stark will see you now, Ms. Kirby," an attractive intern said from behind a hologram display.
"Dr. Kirby," Jessica said, correcting her with a forced smile.
Jacqueline Kirby, an astrophysicist looking to discuss anomalies possibly related to the bridge between our world and Asgard. If it sounded like a big sell, it was. But the director probably had a reason for conceiving of such a legend. Jane Foster's notes helped her get past Pepper Potts, but the science of space wasn't exactly Jessica's strong suit.
"Mr. Stark, thank you for seeing me so early in the morning," Jessica said, watching the door slide closed behind her.
